Pre-Hogwarts

As said before, young Orion lived in a very interesting setting for a young wizard to be. Ever since he was born, greatness was expected of the lad. Not almost having an instance of magic until he was 9, or nearly befriending a muggle on the family's trip to the market were a few things they never wanted to happen. His mother specifically always put pressure on him for being the sole heir to the Neptune fortune because of his banished elder brother. His brother, Cyrus, was banished from the family for specifically running away with a half-blood boyfriend and practically stranding Orion at the manor. Orion resents his brother for this, but never the less he still longs to meet his brother again. Its not that Lady Neptune was very loyal to traditions herself, always marrying whomever the family next suggested only for that man to either dump her entirely or mysteriously leave most of his own fortune to the Neptunes out of pure fear. All of this leaving small Orion with a family name to heavy to carry along with a terrible distaste for muggles. Up until receiving his Hogwarts letter, small sir Neptune spent his days with a private historical tutor at the family mansion in Cambridge. His only friends were his thoughts and his brother's old pet toad, Missy. Once in a while another pureblood ball would be held and he'd sit and observe until it was over. Life was fine, life didnt feel like it was missing anything. Until the letter came. Orion now had a goal for his new life coming at Hogwarts. Make mum proud, dont be a dork, and most importantly, Dont. get. distracted.

First Form Of Magic

Orion was 9 when he finally had his first act of magic, a terribly late time for pureblood standards. The day started as any other would, wake up, get dressed, eat a breakfast from the house elves, and don't show up to the tutor without the notes. Until small sir Neptune did exactly what he told himself not to do. Show up to the tutor without the notes. Without thinking, Orion mumbled under his breath. "Why couldn't the books just follow me?" And as he sulked in the library, knowing what impending doom was coming he saw the tutor's face filled with glee and shock instead. "Madam Neptune!" she shouted to the next room. "He has done it! The book- they're floating!" Orion turned around slowing- to see yes, in fact the book were floating for just a bit more as a loud thud could be heard just as his mother stepped into the room. She had just barely missed it. Yet it still happened... more or less.

Personality

Orion tries very hard to be cheerful around all he meets, however deep down he quite calculative, always trying to learn what a person's next move might be. Life can always be see as a game of chess to small Sir Neptune, a trait fairly common in his family. Due to growing up in a very blood purist setting Orion is always uncomfortable and distrustful around muggles or muggleborns, and as his Mother puts it,
"Its no telling what those pesky mudbloods might do to us."
He can often be seen writing in his self-proclaimed scribble book, or just people watching the halls of the school. Perhaps looking for possible allies, enemies, maybe even...friends?
