Charley grew up in beautiful Galway on the western shores of Ireland. He was fortuitous to be born a half-blood, learning both about the magical and the muggle world.

His mother, being a caretaker for the elderly, is a compassionate person. She always tries to see the best in people, even if they perhaps don't ever deserve it. It is a trait Charley always admired about her, even if he never fully developed it to this day. He did learn from her, though, to support and protect those in need of help. When she found out Charley inherited his father's abilities, she was delighted, even though she will never be able to grasp how it feels.

Most of what Charley had learned in his early life came from his father, though. He is an accomplished potioneer and a man who values determination and the pursuit of knowledge. Whenever there was a problem no one could find a solution for, he would step up and provide one.
His problem-solving skills and analytical thinking are the two most precious things Charley learned from him. When he found out his son was sorted into Ravenclaw, his old house, he was very proud of him. At least the owl Charley received strongly hinted at that.

The first sign of Charley possessing magical abilities was when he mediated a dispute his parents had. When he showed them his love and affection, a peace lily appeared on the living room table, a sign that it was time for them to distance themselves from the fight they had.

When he received his acceptance letter from Hogwarts, he made a vow to give it his all. He will become a great wizard one day!
Hopefully, he will also be able to make some friends, children who think like him and could help him expand his horizon.
From this moment on, a magical journey starts!




Charley is analytical, inquisitive, and cunning. He knows that there isn't an obstacle he cannot overcome with enough focus and commitment. When it comes to interests, Charley knows something about almost everything. He does not like to go in-depth about all but a few very topics vital to him, though.

When it comes to his social skills, he can often seem a bit distant and cold, as he thinks everyone should do their best to solve their own problems. But if people put in some effort, they can still get through to him. Once Charley deems someone his friend, he strongly values their opinions, as he already determined them to be worth the time.

Firm commitments to his tasks, an insatiable hunger to perform the best he can, and a strong bond with his few friends are his most characteristic features.
