Mock duel game Will it work?

For this game, you make a student. With stat points that that student would have (no 50 points for a firstie). You will have them casting a spell and you need to determine if the spell worked. Please let the person who solves it roll. If you don't have discord, This works. Here are the dueling spells!

My understanding is that Incendio was cast last round, Flipendo was cast this round. With that understanding:
Incendio: 387- 40 HP = 347
Aflame for 1 round (Incendio)

Opponent vs. Darius Mayhem
Flipendo: Assumed hit
Damage: 170 HP
347-170 = 177 HP

Darius Mayhem
Reparifors: WDC 11
Wisdom Check: [1d20] 5 + 4 = 9
Spell failed!
If that spell were to have worked:
Darius Mayhem
Reparifors: Assumed hit
Healing: 35 HP
177 + 35 = 212 HP
or... It could be that it's two different rounds, and Darius only tried to heal in the second round:
387 - 120(R1) - 40 - 170(R2) = 57 HP(Knocked Out) Healing is done at the end of the round, can't heal when unconscious
Don't know if any of that makes sense, but here's a new one:

@Michael Miller It requires a few more rolls than that. Also, I forgot to note that they are casting at each other (ex: mateo casts fire-making spell II at Alexis).
