Blair was born on May 12, 2009 in Manchester, England. She is a half-blood, born to a witch mother and a Muggle father. Her mother, who was a Ravenclaw, is a very talented Herbologist who devotes most of her time to her work. Because of this, Blair has a very strained relationship with her mother. Her father is a teacher at a Muggle school, and also coaches Muggle youth sports teams. On the contrary of her relationship with her mother, Blair has a very close and loving relationship with her father. They enjoy playing board games together as well as playing outside. She also has a younger brother, a seven-year-old named Tommy who has not yet shown any instances of magic. Blair first showed magical tendencies at the age of seven. While playing with the family tabby cat, Kitten, she accidentally turned him blue after hugging him. Her mother, though typically indifferent, was happy to see that her daughter was a witch. Her father was surprised, but he was also happy to see that his daughter exhibited the same tendencies as his wife. Her mother, being a Ravenclaw, expected Blair to be sorted into the same house. While Blair was not a hatstall, the hat did hesitate when placing her into a house. Ultimately, Blair's friendly and hardworking misdemeanor placed her into Hufflepuff, and while her mother was disappointed she was not surprised. Even though she is very new to Hogwarts, she seems to be fitting in just fine in Hufflepuff and she is excited to get to know new friends from all Houses.


Most of Blair's family and friends would tell you that she has a heart of gold. She is friendly, outgoing, and typically very positive and optimistic. She tries her best to be a friend to all and make everyone feel valued and included. However, because of her rocky relationship with her mother, she also struggles with her own self-esteem behind closed doors. She has a nagging feeling of never being good enough and a fear of never living up to her mother's strict expectations. She finds solace in spending time with animals and nature. She is talented artistically, and loves to draw and paint.
