My mom and I met up at this joke shop on a cold winter day during our Christmas break. We both agree that the pygmy puffs are the best pets in the world. However, we are both saving up to buy an owl, so I guess pygmy puffs are off our pet list.
However, we still love to visit the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes to look at all the trick candies and Wizard Chess sets. I've never played Wizard Chess before, and I don't have enough money to buy one, but it seems fun judging by the colorful sets being exhibited in the glass windows. I moved towards the pygmy puffs, tickling each one of them as they made adorable squeaky sounds. Pygmy puffs are indeed good pets, but I think I would rather save up the money to purchase an owl.
I visit the joke shop not because I wanted to buy anything (not that my parents would let me), but as a place to meet up with other shoppers and friends during the holidays. If you asked me, my favorite shop on Diagon Alley would be this joke shop. I guess you could really use some laughs after a hectic semester, you just have to take a break in order to do well when you go back.
