At PWW, I can offer you a deeper understanding of both your character and your character's wand. My wand summations are also useful to place on your ency! Just be sure to put proper crediting. Respond to the thread with the form and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! Here is an example of my work for my own wand details:

Mayhaw wood: Realistic and judging, mayhaw owners are down-to-earth people with strong contradictions. Though they at their core would like to help people, they can be too overly critical and so have difficulty making friends. Mayhaw owners are generally not optimistic and find themselves imagining the worst case scenario, and are incredibly stubborn. Mayhaw wands generally do well in the spellcasting fields of charms and DADA, and also more emotion-filled fields such as caring for creatures.
Mayhaw is a type of hawthorn, and its traits adopt hawthorn's in the sense that their owners are complex individuals. The wood color is quite pretty, giving scarlet and black swirls.

Phoenix feather core: As one of Ollivander's primary cores, phoenix feather core represents an individual with a strong personality. Due to the general rarity of phoenixes, the phoenix core is thought to be the rarest Ollivander core. It is quite picky. Phoenix feather core owners usually are very independent just like their wand, which can act of its own accord at special times. Wands with phoenix feather can often be hard-won, and will not work well for many others. Once the owner has earned the core's "respect", they have earned a masterful wand. Owners of phoenix feather wands are often (but not always) witty and think quickly on their feet. Owners can feel different from the world, and many others find it hard to understand them.

Length (22,1 cm, or about 9 inches): Length does not, as many would believe, indicate the physical size of a person. Rather, it symbolizes the scope of one's personality. A wand of 22,1 cm indicates a smaller personality, or one that is lacking in a few certain necessary qualities. This is sometimes unnoticed to the common observers, but when one interacts with the owner of a 9-inch wand they may potentially see that the owner is missing something, whether it's emotional adeptness or common sense. The owner of a 22,1 cm wand is not as lacking as someone with 8 inches or below (considered abnormally short), but is still often misunderstood and can be insensitive to various aspects of life, thought, or emotion.

Flexibility: Rigid A rigid flexibility indicates that the owner is extremely set in their beliefs or perceptions, regardless of what they are. If the owner has a strong set of what they want, they cannot be swayed and can be almost infuriatingly stubborn. As to the wand's loyalty, a rigid wand will be very loyal to its owner, but can also be difficult to tame (which correlates strongly with a Phoenix feather core). If wand and owner have bonded, others will likely have a difficult time performing with the owners wand. Rigid wand owners are not afraid to stand up for what they think is right, though they can be suspicious to a fault.

In relation to Piper specifically, each of these components manifest themselves in her in some form or another, and the components combine to make a unique wand.

The mayhaw wood presents a physically beautiful wand, and is suited to Piper because of her stubbornness and unwillingness to accept help, yet fierce loyalty to the people close to her. Mayhaw wood suits down-to-earth people and Piper certainly appears to be one. This mayhaw wood works together with the Phoenix feather core to indicate uniqueness of character, as well as the personal strength to master a Phoenix feather wand.

This strength, stubbornness and perfectionism, however, is shown to be lacking in necessary good qualities from the almost abnormal shortness of Piper’s wand. She has a strong personality, but in this case the lacking traits appear to be emotional understanding and humility. The rigid flexibility of the wand comes together with the aforementioned qualities to further enforce the idea of Piper’s stubbornness. While this may be a good thing, it should be used for good.

As to the wand’s point of view, the mayhaw wood makes it suitable for spellcasting and (surprisingly) calming areas of magic. The Phoenix feather core gives the wand a quasi-sentient quality, allowing it to have a will of its own to rival that of its owner’s. The length of this particular wand is a bit short for Piper’s height, but nonetheless has its meaning as shown. The flexibility of the wand is hard and quite unbendable, just like the owner’s rigorous beliefs. Altogether an intriguing wand for a character.

EDIT: Recently I discovered HiO does in fact offer flexibility (read on for more info), so Piper's wand is actually brittle. Updates will be made to this sample shortly.


I will analyze the wood, the core, the flexibility, and the length. Depending on the price, I can also put it all together in a total analysis. There will be no cookie-cutter responses - I'll keep them unique as possible within my abilities. Responses will be fast or slow depending on how busy I am and how many requests I have. I'm not very snarky about pricing - this is a super fun activity for me, so I get almost as much out of it as you do! I would like a bit of compensation for my time, though.

The individual analyses are summaries of individual wand components. You can buy as many of those as you want, and each item is one component.

The general analysis is like a 4-pack of the individual analysis - an analysis for each of your wand components.

The in-depth analysis is basically the general analysis, but with a 150+ word summary of how the components fit together and more importantly how your wand correlates to your character.

The overview analysis is similar to the in-depth, but without the individual component summaries. It is a basic (but not in-depth) overview of your wand details and how they relate to your character. I will be going off of your ency and/or backstory for this!

Individual Analysis (Wood, Core, OR Flexibility & Length) - 50-150 words: 2 Sickles

General Analysis (Individual Analyses for wood, core, flexibility, and length) - 50-150 words per component; adding up to 200-600 words: 5 Sickles

In-Depth Analysis (General Analysis + 2+ Paragraph Summary) - General Analysis with 150+ word Summary: Ranges from 10 Sickles to a Galleon, depending on length.

Overview Analysis (2+ Paragraph Summary) - 200+ word Summary: 6-10 Sickles, depending on length

Regarding discounts, I currently have a few:

General Analysis Discount (Applies to the General Analysis): If you buy one but want another for a friend, it's free!
Requirements: 1) Must have already purchased a General Wand Analysis, and 2) This purchase must be as a gift.

Ickle Firsties Discount (Applies to all): All first-years receive a free analysis! If this gets to be too much, though, I might need a waitlist xD

1. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. I will never discriminate, but if you're being very rude then I will (understandably) not want to help you.
2. Be complete when filling out the form. If parts are left out then your request may not be met.
3. Give proper crediting to the shop. I don't want much; put it in a spoiler if you want for all I care, but please do credit the shop name somewhere in your ency if you put your analysis there.
4. Don't pester me. Again, not much to ask, but I don't like when people pester me. I give permission to pester only if I'm taking longer than 2 weeks. Remember that the longer the analysis, the longer the wait time.
5. Be honest. I mentioned this before, but if given a refund, do not abuse it and copy my analysis somewhere else. If refund abuse happens then I'll have to stop offering it. Additionally, only request a refund if you're truly unsatisfied with my work. As I said, refunds are not guaranteed.
6. Owls/DMs only! Because of the nature of this shop, I will only be owling you (or Discord DMing, whichever you prefer) your results. My Discord is Avenirlight #0655 if you want to reach me there too.
7. Multiple purchases - All items can be bought more than once if they're for a friend. You can purchase however many individual analyses you want, but the General/In-depth Analyses can only be bought once for personal use. This is to save my poor brain from going bonkers with possible repeat requests.
