The start of my journey Closed

Kitty didn't believe in magic until that moment when she got that letter. Now, not only was she gifted with it, she was going to a school to help perfect it! Out of all the strangest things that have happened to her, this was by far the strangest. 'Now that I'm at the train station, where can I find platform 9 3/4?' Kitty wondered. She was in-between platform 9 and 10 but she couldn't find 9 3/4. Then she saw another little girl with similar luggage, 'Excuse me, can you help me find platform 9 3/4?', the little girl smiled and said 'Run into that wall', Kitty was confused, 'Run ... are you sure?', the girl giggled, 'Yes, we can do it together if you would like.' Kitty nodded and stood behind the girl, 'Are you ready?', 'Yes', the girl took off and ran ... through the wall. Kitty ran, fear keeping her eyes wide open for anything that might happen. Suddenly, she was on the other side. She was at platform 9 3/4. Kitty stepped onto the train, hoping for an empty compartment. Finally finding one, she sat down and took out one of her books, and began reading, but set it down swarmed with what happened that day. 'I'll certainly have plenty to write about to Mom and Dad', she said out loud. 'I will miss them.'
