Lilvi said the password to the Fat Lady she entered the Gryffindor common room. Lilvi immediately sat on one of the couches.
Lilvi said, "One thing about the Gryffindor common room is that they have the comfiest couches, next is Hufflepuff, and after that it's Ravenclaw and then Slytherin. Also, Gryffindor has the comfiest beds. Hufflepuff's common room might be cozier looking but their common room is always cold. Gryffindor is the warmest, you know, cause we have the nice fires. I read about it it "We Rate Hogwarts - The Essential Guide To All Aspects Of Hogwarts." We have an overall rating of 9/10 Stars, it's not a full case of stars because of the Fat Lady. Hufflepuff gets a 7/10 due to the coldness and it's in the Hufflepuff basement, below ground level behind a stack of barrels near the kitchens. Ravenclaw gets a 6/10 due to how many stairs there are, and the couches are firm. Slytherin gets a 5/10 because it's under the lake and they have gotten a few leaks. Also, their beds are apparently so firm. Apparently, the Ravenclaw common room is empty and has no decor. They even include pictures of what each common room looks like! I am going to try to find it, be right back."
Lilvi looks around searching for the book, she checks under her bed, not there. She checks her nightstand, not there. She checks in her trunk, not there. She finally checks on her bed, it was there the whole time.
Lilvi rushes down the stairs, "I found it!" She turns to page 52, the title reads, "Common Rooms and Their Ratings of 2020" She points to the Gryffindor common room, there is a cozy image of the common room.
"It looks exactly like it, doesn't it, that's the Hufflepuff." Lilvi points to the Hufflepuff common room.
"Looks very bright though, we use yellow lighting but so do they."
"This is the Slytherin." Lilvi points to the Slytherin common room.
"And finally, the Ravenclaw."

Kora quietly watched Lilvi turn the pages of the book showing all the common rooms. When Lilvi stopped at the Ravenclaw common room Kora sighed. The Ravenclaw Common Room looked so beautiful and peaceful. "I think the Ravenclaw Common Room looks the best," Kora said, still staring at the picture of the common room. "I don't think the comfiness matters, or the stairs, the Ravenclaw Common Room looks so....beautiful." Kora stared at the book in Lilvi's hands for awhile in silence. Then she shifted around on the couch. "So, you're interested in Quidditch, right?" Kora winced, remembering what Lilvi had said about her sister and Quidditch. Maybe that wasn't the smartest topic to bring up...
Kora leaned back on the couch, soaking in the heat from the fire burning in the fireplace. She suddenly remembered when she used to sit by the fireplace at her house, petting her cat while she soaked in the heat. She'd always enjoyed the times she did that, listening to the fire crackle and snap, it was very peaceful. She smiled wistfully. The Gryffindor Common Room came pretty close to what the Ravenclaw Common Room probably would've felt like. It was strangely peaceful.

"Yeah! I love Quidditch, the Hollyhead Harpies are my favorite team, they are the Irish team! I really want to be a seeker or chaser, I'm set on the seeker, it sounds so fun, you know! And I thought I would be a Ravenclaw, I know basically every book known to Muggle or Wizard/Witch, I added a little note."
Lilvi hands the book to Kora.
Lilvi remembered one day when she was in 4th grade (American years), she had written an essay about a magical place and her teacher loved it. She showed it to everyone in the grade, and everybody made fun of her messy handwriting, they called it rat-writing. She still had it to this day, her mother made her keep it.
The note read,

Lilvi hands the book to Kora.
"Sorry about my handwriting, it is really messy, it looks like I did it with my left hand." Lilvi is embarrassed, she had never shown anyone her handwriting, at it's worst.[font=Monotype Corsiva] Fun Fact: Hufflepuff is the only house to have protection for their common room. If someone taps the wrong barrel or the wrong rhythm, they are doused in vinegar [/font]

Kora read the notes Lilvi had scrawled on the sides of the book. She grinned, "So you like to read? I do too!" She sighed, "I actually thought I was going to get into Ravenclaw as well, but I guess that didn't happen." Kora remembered what she was about to say just then and breathed in deeply. "So, uhm, Lilvi...." Kora trailed off then quickly blurted out, "Would you like to try out for Quidditch?" Kora blushed slightly, embarrassed.
She had always been very interested in Quidditch, but of course she never told that to her parents. Kora's parents had always wanted her to focus on studying, but never sports. They were convinced sports were useless in their young daughter's life, that they wouldn't benefit her in any way, so they forbid her from playing them. But now that her parents weren't as in control of her life as before, Kora thought that maybe she could try out for Quidditch, do things her parents never let her do. Going to Hogwarts, Kora realized, also freed her from her parents' controlling grasp, meaning she wouldn't have to study day after day, she would be able to make friends and play sports. Hogwarts, in a way, was her freedom.

All Lilvi ever wanted was to be on any Quidditch team, she loved sports, she loved flying so much.
"That would be AWESOME!! What position are you going for? I'm thinking I want to go out for seeker, not cause of all the glory, but because of the fun and venture. Sure it was on a quidditch pitch, but she had seen someone fly so high they had to hold their breath because the oxygen level went down! I can't wait to try that! Huh, maybe now I come to think about it I was put in Gryffindor for my recklessness. Impressive! I just feel so optimistic that you want to try out with me! I had always been so nervous! But before that what if they test our knowledge of Quidditch? Like how many matches are in a season? It's six by the way, and what if they test us on broomsticks?! And what about fun facts, that wouldn't be so fun if they cut us because of one? Like did you know the longest quidditch match lasted 3 months, I bet you didn't! And what if that cost you from being on the team! And then I would have to be to matches without you Kora! This is not going so well, my indecisiveness is not helping this."

Kora laughed, "Lilvi, don't overthink it, tomorrow let's do it! We'll try out for Quidditch together, if we get on the team then maybe we'll go down in Hogwarts history, maybe we won't get on the team and we'll just live our normal lives. It's pretty simple, we'll just see what happens tomorrow! So forget your indecisiveness and just try out with me." Kora smiled at her. She had no idea Lilvi was this indecisive, usually she'd find it annoying, but Lilvi was just so friendly and likable. "Even if I don't get in and you do I'll still go to your games and watch you. And don't worry, I'm sure you'll get on the team." Kora leaned back on the couch. "It's getting pretty late, Lilvi. Wanna head up to our dormitory and sleep? I think we'll need some rest for tomorrow," Kora said to Lilvi, standing up and stretching her back. "You can do what you want I guess but I'm heading up to the dormitories now, I'm getting tired," Kora yawned.
Then Kora started to walk up even more steps to get up to the girls dorms. She smiled. Tonight had been such a great night. And tomorrow would be even better, Kora And Lilvi would be trying out for Quidditch.
