Looking at her feet while cautiously holding Quinn's hand- Wait... no. It was someone elses hand. Nico wasn't quite sure who. Was this... Harlin? Maybe? As she walked beside him, supporting him where needed, many things went through her head.

Was there something Quinn hadn't told her about? It had to be something real bad if Erin and Kyle wanted to beat him up for it, right? The redhead sighed softly and glanced up at her part-giants face. It was far up but she could tell he was quite beaten up. 'You're not Quinn... Are you?' Her gaze was back infront of her as they were getting closer to the entrance of the Hospital Wing. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be heard right now.

Casually, she acted as if she hadn't said anything, guiding the part-giant to the only bed that seemed to be big enough for him. His feet would probably just about dangle off the end of the bed. He'd have to suck it up, she thought. In the best way that she could manage, the dhampir helped him lay down in such a way that he'd be comfortable enough. Maybe fluffing up the pillow behind him.

Still in her Masquarade attire, Nico sighed and sat down on a nearby chair, facing the gingerbread giant. For a long time she didn't say anything yet her face said enough. Her thin, refined eyebrows were furrowed, her arms were crossed. Like a dissapointed mother.

'Well...? Don't you have anything to say about this?'
Her hesitant mind had become more angry. She felt she had the right to. If he really was hiding something from her, he better spit it out bef- 'What kind of spectacle was that, huh? Do you have anything to say for yourself, Mr. Healy? Getting punched by probably the biggest weirdos of Hogwarts? Erin and Kyle? Not only are they weird, they're strong too. And those are the most dangerous weirdos. What was she talking about? You are innocent right? Are you hiding something from me? If you are you better explain yourself very clearly...' She spat those words like venom. The child didn't hate him. She couldn't hate him from one day to another, right? She just... felt hurt.

[font="Monotype Corsiva"]Aeron narrowed her eyes. She wasn't just blindly bidden to the rage that her precious Quinn developed her from. She was extremely aware of her purpose. Quinn was her son, Quinn needed her and should would anything to protect him from the world that unjustly discriminated against him. This was not one of those situations. As much as Aeron wanted to just lash out at Nico just push her away from Quinn. She would never forgive herself for what that would do to Quinn and how that would make him feel. So she just sighed and simply shook her head staring with an annoyed glared at Nico. Before giving control back to Quinn but choosing to suppress (silence) Harlin.

Quinn's glare turned into one of confusion and bewilderment. Blinking he looked around quickly and then at Nico. Without warning he pulled Nico up and brought her very close to him inspecting her without a word. This took a full minute of panicked silence before he kissed Nico on the forehead gently and set her down visibly relaxing. "Who did she hurt this time?" He looked to Nico seriously, massive hands on her shoulders squeezing them with careful gentleness.

"Aeron did not hurt ye or anyone else right?" He was still extremely pissed off by the entire situation. But in front of Nico, the Dhamphir seemed to melt some of that away.

Nico squinted at the Half-Giant who didn't seem to be himself at the time. All they did, was sigh annoyed and give her a dirty look. The dhampir was about to speak up once again, but something changed within her boyfriends bodylanguage. It confused her just as much as it did him, for a brief moment. Her eyes widened as he suddenly pulled her close and started to check her, from head to toe. Her face turned red. She wasn't sure if she should struggle out of his grip or just let it happen.

'H-Hey! What are you-' Her hands frantically tried to fend him off, but alas, the tiny slaps of her hands were close to that of leafs on a fresh spring morning. They didn't do him any harm. Thankfully she didn't get hurt at the Ball. She only got scared big time.

When he kissed her forhead, she almost melted away by the sheer embarrasment she experienced while trying to fend him off. She almost froze as she was overcome by warm feelings that only Quinn could provide. 'I-...She.. didn't hurt anyone. Thankfully. Wait! Who are you talking about?' Her iceblue hues looked back at his face. Silly boy. He was worried about everyone else and forgot that he himself was in terrible shape.
Her pale hand carefully reached for his... before grabbing it tight, digging her nails deep in his palm. It wouldn't puncture his skin, but it would sting like hell. 'You need to explain yourself! For some odd reason Erin and Kyle just HAD to target you. They didn't seem to back off at all. Do you realise that you were so close to... to..' Her grip loosened slighty as her eyes once again got lost in the many bruises all over him. 'I- Who is this she anyway? I.. I want answers, Quinn! Are you holding something back for me?' Her breathing become more rapid and her grip in his palm grew stronger once more.

[font="Monotype Corsiva"]Even with Quinn's tough hide, the boy stiffened and winced obviously in a fair amount of pain. The momentary smile and relief he felt was replaced by fear and a bit of anguish. Oh could he tell her? Well he had to right. This was Nico after all she had every right to know. Quinn could lie to a lot of people but there were three people he wouldn't allow himself to lie to. No matter how dire or great the consequences were as a result. His baby sisters, and Nico.

Closing his eyes he began to shake, and took in a sharp breathe. "N-Nico...promise me...." His voice cleared up he forced the accent back down as much possible so his english was almost perfectly clear. The accent very light now. "What I'm about to tell you...does not leave your lips." His expression hardened and he remained tense. But his voice remained gentle despite the clear seriousness. "I need you to promise me that no matter what you hear that you are honest with me...if this...if this is a deal breaker t-t-then I need to know...o-okay." He shuddered closing his eyes for a moment before looking back to her with an incredibly exhausted expression leaning down closer. His eyes locking into a gaze with her own. "Promise me..." His eyes were wet and he looked on the verge of tears.

She had expected him to react calm and smile at her with that honey smile of his. But that didn't come. Instead, his serious demeanor melted down into that of someone who was afraid. He no longer looked like the adult that students often mistook him to be. He was back to being the child he actually was. Nico carefully let go of his hand, no longer letting her nails clench into his palm.

He rarely showed this side of his and she couldn't help but blush whenever he did. In fact, she basicly blushed about anything the Half-Giant did. Love do be like that. His beat up face came closer to her. The dhampir carefully kept a certain distance between them as she thought about the things he said. Was it really that bad? She lightly shook her head, her eyes looking elsewhere as she thought about the words that came to her mind.

'Q-Quinn. I can't exactly promise you how I'll respond, to something I don't know anything about. But... I can tell you that even until now, even after you got beaten up and you... apparantly keep things from me, ... I still ... love you, okey? We've been through worse. Unless what you're going to tell me, is worse than... worse.' A sheepish smile slid on her lips before she found the courage to lock eyes with him. 'I'm here for you.' Her pale hand gently caressed his cheek before she leaned closer to him and kissed his forhead. 'Speak your mind, Quinn.'

She sat back and gently held his big hand in both her hands, ready to hear him out.
