Pre-Hogwarts History:
Alex has a witch mother, and a muggle father. He has a good life at home, and he knew about Hogwarts from a young age. As a baby, his parents knew about his magical blood, as his mother was straight-up with his father about his magical potential (so questions wouldn't arouse later). His father was understanding (and a little excited, as most muggles aren't able to raise a magical baby). After his mom told his dad about Hogwarts and what it is like there, his dad decided to be the "bad-guy" of the household and take care of the discipline, because from what he conceived from it, Hogwarts was quite literally, paradise. Although Alex had a nice 11 years, he got scolded a lot. However, there were constant vacations to different places to relieve the stress of school and whatnot, as he was in all GT/AA classes and expected to maintain straight A's. Every summer, Alex would dream about Hogwarts, and his excitement for the school would override his desire to make friends, so he wouldn't have many friends at his primary school. However, he would try his best to make friends at Hogwarts, because it could determine his entire life as a wizard. He could also barely sleep the summer before his 11th year. Now that he is coming, he feels extremely ecstatic. His first encounter with accidental wandless magic was jumping onto the roof of his house during a game of muggle hide-and-seek.
