Brynn bounced lightly as she climbed the train steps, a bright smile across her lips. This was really real. She was going to become a witch, a real live one! She glanced back to her father, giving a small wave to him before turning away and taking a deep breath. After a moment she moved forward, glancing into the cars that she passed. After passing several, she decided to just pop into one. She nodded slightly to the other people, her eyes flitting between the others who were to learn magic.

She moved her fingers to her pocket, where she had placed the letter she had received. Of course, she had no real need for it now. It was only the acceptance letter, and was probably something that most people didn't really care too much about after the fact anyway. Brynn, however, owed it to her new sense of belonging. She never really felt excluded back home, but she always knew that she wasn't what everyone thought she was. She was finally able to be a part of something, and for that she was happy. Ecstatic, even. Her letter was the symbol of her happiness, the very thing that showed her what she truly was.

@Brynn Berrywood I kind of butted in here, sorry! You don’t have to respond!

Evelyn was sitting in the soft velvet seat of the train compartment. She had been immediately surprised at the comfort of the train compartment. Fears doubts and excimer was whirling through her mind. She didn’t have wizarding parents would she be accepted? She knew absolutely nothing about magic and had been reading their textbooks to try and prepare herself. It was all fascinating and she couldn’t imagine anyone complaining like they did at her old school. She now knew it was called a muggle school and a muggle was a non magical person. It was all very complicated but she was sure she’d enjoy this school, or at least she hoped she would. Evelyn looked away from the window as a girl around her own age walked in. Instantly she wondered about the girl did she know about magic before her letter? Or was she like Evelyn? She studied the girl, blonde hair reaching just passed her shoulders, slightly nervous smile. “Um, hi,” Evelyn said “Are you in first year too?” Her gaze flickered to the window once again, she could still see her mum, dad, brother, and sister in the platform. She wished they could be magical too! And her best friend Beverly! She turned her attention back to the girl, worried she’d come across as rude.
