✦ Memphis Herndon - Hufflepuff ✦
When?
Memphis Maurice Herndon was born on the 10th of February, to Percival Herndon and his lawful wife, Grayce Herndon (Idilly). He was soon to be a brother to his seven siblings; two sisters and four brothers. His family was big and very blood proud from the very beginning; the Idilly's being known for their writer past and their Slytherin ambition whilst the Herndon's were a successful, slightly evil-sided Ravenclaws where each generation would have the occasional Slytherin. Both family names brought a flying start for Memphis and his siblings, as they own many territories, including resorts, country homes and even a small restaurant down in the isles of France. Needless to say, Memphis and his future generations would be way ahead in terms of financial support.
This wealth and success came with a price; the children barely got to see any kindness or visible love from their father's side and that side of the family in general. He was always out, always away with his work abroad or at some business trip. Percival's family was even less gracious towards children, although having some of their own. Memphis' oldest cousins Grenwald and Wolfhard grew up on a strict regimen of discipline from their mother, so whenever Memphis got the 'chance' to stay over at any extended family, he'd be given out to on any occasion. The Idilly's, although also a bit hungry for discipline, where never as tough on their kids, seeing how this stresses out them; making them work worse than rested and loved kids.
Memphis doesn't remember life without siblings. His first brother, Novatius, arrived when he was just one, and a year after that came Cyrus. When Memphis was seven, he heard of his twin sisters, who arrived months later. Although the house they lived in was more of a mansion than a home, the boys had to squeeze into a single bedroom. Memphis turned protective when his brother, Roan, arrived at 9. The newest arrival of the house is the sick and frail Marin. Memphis has grown onto these six people over all these years, especially his brothers Nova and Cyrus, who Grayce calls the Three Musketeers, playfully.
The house for the young boy was always full of a nook or cranny that he could explore with his younger siblings, especially the absolute massive library underneath the house, that was quite possibly the biggest library Memphis will probably ever see.As the family was of mainly scholars, Memphis was always thought around stories, and later books that developed into his personal hobby. From ever since birth, the pureblood has been shown magic as both beautiful rose and a dangerous thorn. He was thought of the whats and why of evil.
He was never a spoiled kid, for his mother predicted that he would be. He shared his room and still does, although he could easily get his own. He wears clothes his cousin did and shares his school books with his brothers.

Who?
Memphis is a fairly tall boy, athletic at that, with a slight baby face. His hair resembles his fathers; about shoulder length, wavy and a warm dark color surrounding the locks. He has dark hazel eyes, which used to be green when he was very young. He has a rather pale complexion, although not as pale as some boys his year. He has a slight English accent to his voice, as accepted from someone living on the outskirts of London all his life. He has a crooked index finger, from one of his adventures as a child, resulting in tears and his finger naturally aligned to the right. He does not require glasses or hearing aids, his family not being ones to have those kinds of things. People claim to say that he carries the scent of pine and a library.
His usual wear is what you'd expect from a grandad. He wears wore down sneakers to a polo vest or a sweater and a buttoned-up, collar shirt in crisp white. His usual attire also includes various versions of Ravenclaw adorned hoodies and deep blue sweaters made from wool or cotton. He also suits a proper formal outfit, along with ties, which he learned to do at a very young age.
As a person, to others, he is polite, yet cold. He rarely opens up and can quickly hide his true emotions through his monotonous voice and perfect posture. He seems condescending to most and struggles with opening up to people with genuine kindness. He also struggles with looking past himself, which he does admit, realize and tries to change his ways. He gets influenced by emotions a lot and is actually very easily angered or hurt but learned to hide this. He is a very soft person on the inside, and some words trigger him to tears on some occasions. Memphis acts very differently to his 'friends' and family, as Nova and Cyrus have described.
Memphis takes a lot of aspects differently and is easily peer pressured. He gets frightened by thinking too much, which is ironically his favorite thing to do. He thinks he has a thick barrier around him, but in reality, he can see that its paper thin.He loves jokes! And he is an absolute worry-wart too! Oh, and he prefers feeling to facts.

What?
Memphis usually carries around a handful of things with him, including the small things that you wouldn't really expect from him.
A list of what's on him usually always:
A few bobbins.
A photo of his family.
His main information on a laminated card.(Age, Address, Blood Type)
A scrunchie.
An Astronomy book.
A cute necklace from his sisters.
Memphis is usually a tidy person, never messing up a place without leaving. His many hobbies include cleaning up after his siblings, organizing alphabetically and dusting the shelves of things. He has many cleaning habits that include photos needing to be cleaned first, mopping after vacuuming and some other ones that are annoying to people outside his household.
You're your own pawn at your own game.
