Cade entered the library after a very long nap. He had awoken to a particularly impatient school owl tapping on his bed frame. Groggily he plucked the letter from its beak to see a message from that Gryffindor girl he'd met the week before. Cade wondered what this could be about. Did she want him to join her Mystical Creatures club that she'd mentioned? Whatever it was she wanted Cade assumed it must be urgent. For she told him to meet her in the library immediately.
Pulling on his socks and shoes, Cade yawned and examined himself in the mirror. He didn't want to look like he'd been sleeping for hours. He patted down the back of his hair and splashed some water on his face. Feeling that to be good enough, Cade made his way out of Ravenclaw tower and down the spiral staircase to the ground floor.
Entering the library, he looked around at the various tables of students. Most of them were quietly studying with big stacks of books piled on their desks. Some were talking quietly and others were fully asleep on top of their work. Cade tried not to smile when seeing a boy's head fall onto his desk then immediately jerk awake and look around to see if anyone was watching.
Cade finally saw the blond Gryffindor girl sitting at a table by the window overlooking the grounds. He made his way over and sat across from her, giving a small smile. "Hello."

Romah almost jumped when she heard Cade's voice behind her. She had been writing in her white leather notebook, marked with a painting on the cover of a dragon, hippogriff and phoenix flying in a circle. This book was a gift from her "uncle" Sesha. He wasn't really her uncle, just a super close family friend. He worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. He was the one who first introduced her to his pet hippogriff, Dartmane. Dartmane was a gorgeous example of a hippogriff. She had dark charcoal fur with jet black feathers. Her feathers tips had a brick red tinge to them, hence her name Dartmane. She had been taking notes from her copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She would need some facts to start off with when she and Katie(and hopefully Cade) would start up their club. She planned on making a small book titled An Intro to Creatures:Mystical to Magical and Everything In Between to give to people that wanted to know more about those types of creatures. She turned toward Cade and said I'm glad you could make it. So, do you want to join the club?

Cade bit his lip and narrowed his eyes. He wasn't sure how much of a help he could be with starting up a club. Especially one he knew almost nothing about. He looked down at the books in front of Romie then back at her.
"I dunno. I've never been apart of a club before. Could you tell me more about it?" He scratched his neck. Cade figured having more information would help him make a decision. He had read about magical creatures after purchasing Newt Scamander's book from Diagon Alley at the start of the year. He wasn't quite finished with all the pages though. What was the purpose of joining a club? Wouldn't that mean more work in the long run? Cade enjoyed having projects to do but he didn't want to overwhelm himself if he didn't have to.
"Tell me about what the club plans on doing? Is it just discussing mystical creatures?" Cade propped an elbow on the table and rested his chin on his hand. He hoped his words didn't come across blunt. He just wanted to know what the plan was. He looked across at Romie, she didn't seem like the sensitive type. He was eager to hear what she'd say.

Well, yeah kinda. Romah immediately blushed. She must've sounded like some idiot chatter-box. Just having an idea to just read and talk. She looked at his face, her eyes scanning his for any signs of emotion or thought but she couldn't notice anything. Honestly, she didn't even know what she was looking for in his dark brown irises. She decided to dive deeper.Not only that. I have an idea. We can choose 1 creature for each meeting and then we can kind of discuss it and do a little research. I plan on contacting Headmaster Lear about requesting we can maybe take field trips to a nearby wizard zoo and seeing some of the animals. Also, we could try comparing them to muggle animals that they seem some how related too. Of course there would also be some hands on work. She took a deep breath and turned up towards Cade. What do ya think?

"Wow! Er... I think that's an extraordinary proposition. But... don't you think it's a little... Er... advanced?" Cade caught her pale eyes. He looked away just as quickly and pulled Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them closer. He flipped through the pages browsing and looking through the different creatures. He wanted to like this but he was having trouble thinking about all the effort that would go into a plan so grand as Romie's. He just started his wizarding career a month and a half ago. Wasn't it bold of them to organize trips out of the school?
"I dunno Romie, this seems pretty complex. I'd love to do the discussion bits, but I don't think Professor Lear would let us off school grounds. Especially without a chaperone." Cade paused on the page concerning the Augurey bird and its mourning cry that predicted death. He quickly snapped the book shut and pursed his lips. "Perhaps the care of magical creatures professor could bring in beasts to show us?" He looked at the girl across from him. She seemed to be embarrassed for some reason, Cade wondered what was wrong. Was he making her uncomfortable?
"Er... Sorry. I don't mean to bring you down. I like your idea." He added gently. He knew he could be intense sometimes, he was the same way with his little sister. Perhaps it was best if he stayed quiet. He couldn't hurt anyone's feelings that way.
