A sign overhead read: Hogwarts Express, eleven o' clock. Arissa sighed, finally accepting the fact that she can't go back home with her parents. She'll be on her first day of school, far, far away from them. She felt her hand clenching the handle of the cart, before turning towards her parents. Arissa felt her eyes welled up with tears before she swallowed it, giving her parents a fake smile.

Its hard. To be far apart. To separate. She can't do it.

Her mother lean down towards her, her hands touching her daughters cheek, kissing her forehead. "Don't cry, darling. You can meet us during holiday. It won't be long. Furthermore, you do know that most students your age are on the same boat as well".

Her father too, approached her, while patting her head. "Arissa, there's a lot of things you can try at school. Hogwarts is fun. Don't worry, you'll have new friends soon. You won't ever feel lonely darling. You'll meet plenty of ghosts at Hogwarts too. And Peeves. Well, if you value your hair, try to avoid him. But what I mean is, you'll be busy exploring to brood around you know. What house would you like to be sorted again? Ravenclaw right? Arissa nodded, her eyes were red but thankfully, no tears come out from her eyes.

"A shame, I thought you would do well in Gryffindors. But if you're bored, then you can bother the Slytherins. They make the funniest - Ouch!" His hand rubbed his ribs, while his eyes staring warily at her mother's left elbow.

Arissa, despite her sadness, let out a small chuckle.

" Don't teach her such things, Arthur. " Melissa said.

A whistle sounded.

"Hurry, dear. It's time. Remember what I told you. What your grandmother told you. It would help you to survive in there. "

Arissa, though her eyes still red, proceed to give a kiss on her parent's cheek, saying," Yes mother. I'll be sure to follow your advice. Father, good luck for you tournament too."

Yes. Today is the first step towards her journey to Hogwarts. She won't let simple weakness stop her. She would survive.
