First Year, First Friend.
Interaction with @Nolan Abimbola.
Backdated to September 1, 2020.
It hadn't been Theodora's first time on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. She'd been going every year for as long as she could remember, but not for herself- for her siblings. There wasn't a time that she was alive that her parents hadn't brought her with to drop off either her brother or two sisters for their years at Hogwarts, but last year her sister closest to Theo in age had graduated, leaving the young witch alone to start her first year. This time when her parents brought her to the train station, she wasn't there to see off anyone else- she was there to take her trunks and step onto the train for the first time on her own.
Despite what many of her peers may have been feeling, Theo wasn't worried about the fact that she was going in to her first year not knowing anyone- not in the slightest. She'd always been a very social person and good at meeting people when she needed to. She had to be, what with her family moving in and out of London her whole life, spending extended periods of time in foreign countries where Theo had to figure out a way to entertain herself while her parents worked. Though there were muggle friends she was sad to be leaving back home, a new school was a new opportunity to meet a whole new group of individuals her age. Her siblings had warned her that not everyone was going to be as receptive to Theo and her personable attitude, she wasn't much worried about that. There were always people who weren't going to like her... She'd just decided that the only times he'd surround herself with those kinds of people would be in times where they could prove useful to her. Otherwise, she'd be sure to stick by only the most loyal and enjoyable of people.
Dragging her trunk along down the narrow corridors of the Hogwarts express, Theo peeked into each of the passing doors, looking for a carriage that didn't already hold its maximum capacity of students. It wasn't long until she came across a carriage that only seemed to hold a single boy, whom she assumed was about her age. Seeing as there wasn't anyone with him, Theo assumed he hadn't met anyone to speak with on the platforms like so many of their peers had- herself included. But Theo only hadn't met anyone because her fathers lack of punctuality had almost made her late for the train itself. There was barely time to say goodbye to her parents, let alone converse with her fellow first years.
The young witch tugged the carriage door open, poking her head in. "Hello," She spoke first in order to get the boys attention. "Are these seats available?"
