BBCode Questions
Hi I had a question on BBCode! I thought I read somewhere you can resize images using BBCode? If this is true, could you please tell me how to do it? If not, it would be useful to know anyway. This thread can be used for any BBCode Questions, by anybody! Don't hesitate to ask!

As far as I know, there's no way to do that; but if the image is put inside a table, there's a way to trick the visual size of the table.
If the above explanation sounds confusing, hopefully this can help clarify some points...
It's like this. The size of a table cannot be controlled. It automatically determines its size depending on the size of the pic/the length of the text inside it.
Thus, players who really wants their tables on certain size (for example, two tables of exactly the same size) uses a trick, usually by inserting a transparent text/pic/symbol on the smaller table so that the computer would assume the content of the smaller table is exactly the same size/length of that in the bigger table; therefore adjusting them to more or less similar sizes.
However, this trick also has downsides.
Number one, the player has to manually determine the length of the invisible text/symbol they insert. Why? Because it also depends on the content of the other table, so there's no exact guide on this.
Number two, by using this strategy, what is visually pleasing on one device is most likely not pretty on another device. For instance, one sets this trick on a 14-inch screen computer and the result looks good. However, when seen on a 10-inch screen computer, the transparent symbols may appear below each other instead of beside, due to the different size of the devices. For a very simple example, you can imagine 5 images are displayed horizontally on a laptop - but they become 3 images in a row + 2 images below the three when the same web page is accessed on a mobile phone.
Hope this helps.
