How've you been as of late? How's your family? We heard Natalia just became an alchemist, is that right? And may we wish you the largest of congratulations on your sons' recent graduation!

We're sure you heard the news of the ball happening at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this October. A splendid opportunity to meet people and create lasting relationships, don't you agree?

Back to the matter at hand, is your youngest, Alexei, planning on attending the ball? He's in his third year now, isn't he? And what a handsome and wonderful young man he's shaping up to be. They really do grow up so fast. Have you found a partner for your boy yet?

We haven't found anyone suitable for our wonderful Silvia yet, but we're sure we'll find someone of worthy status soon. Taking our daughter to the ball really would be such a strong promise of an allied connection for the future, wouldn't it? She really is so special, our Silver. Top of her class, that girl. And we're sure you've heard of her looks, of course. Even more beautiful than her mother, this one.

In any case, we hope to hear back from you soon. And remember, the Ventresses have been a powerful Pureblood family for decades now. You would do well to keep that in mind.

To the esteemed Mr. and Mrs. Ventress(@Jess Malters) -
We were most pleased to receive your letter. Thank you for your congratulations! Natalia is settling quite nicely at the Centre for Alchemical Studies in Egypt, though based on her letters, the weather is quite the adjustment. Our boys are all doing excellently, and we shan't take your precious time to go into too much detail about each of them before answering the main purpose of your letter.

We're quite proud of Alexei. He's just begun his fourth year and is thriving in school. He's an accomplished broom racer and has been selected to represent Durmstrang at the interschool race this year. Thus, he will be attending the Hogwarts Ball.

We must say, we're rather surprised that you've been unable to find a suitable partner for your daughter, considering that she is every a wellbred Pureblood girl ought to be from your description. We have had similar difficulties finding a suitable partner for our own lovely son. That just goes to show that they're letting anyone in these schools these days.

We are certain Alexei would be thrilled and honored to escort your lovely daughter to the Hogwarts Ball. Those of us who value the right things must stick together.

We must admit, we're quite thrilled with your request. We would, of course, be delighted to have your son take our daughter to the ball.

And yes, of course, you are right on the matter of curiosity with which we greet the difficulty of finding a suitable partner for our Silvia. Although, I suppose neither of us should be much surprised, considering what passes as a wizard these days.

Such a shame that others of our blood status don't share the same views as us, isn't it? Mark my words, these Muggleborns will be the ruin of the Wizarding kind.

In any case, we agree to your proposition, and eagerly await the relationship that will surely form between our families with our children's arrangement. We look forward to any correspondences between us in the future.
