The Most Curious of Friendships
Elizabeth wandered outside of the castle, onto the grassy area before the Great Lake. The sun beamed down onto her lightly olive colored skin forcing a soft smile onto her face. It had been a while since she had last explored the Hogwarts grounds and she was eager to get 'out and about' again.
Elizabeth had been cooped up in the walls of the library studying for this and that and catching up on some light reading. The urge to explore and discover new places and areas to study had been bugging her for so long considering she had mostly kept to the Common Room and Library. She had also noticed that she was lacking friends as everyone she knew had either grouped off or she hadn't seen or spoken to them in however long. She was usually quite sociable and thinking about it now, she knew she had been sort of off lately.
Elizabeth continued further towards the Great Lake, passing different groups of people and individuals, hoping she would be able to have a 'nosey' into the lake itself. (Not getting too close to the edge of course.) The grass was still a tiny bit damp from the morning dew making little bits of grass and leaves stick to the sides of her shoes.
As she continued on she smiled and giggled about all sorts of little thoughts and memories that crossed her quite curious and imaginative mind, making the sun appear to shine brighter. Elizabeth was known to zone out when she took, what she called her, 'Brain Powering Expeditions'. She had noticed the glances her way and the whispers in the corridors but in the end it was better to be different that simply the same.

The Most Curious of Friendships
Ashlyn had woken up early in the morning, hoping to find Tarou waiting for her somewhere on the grounds. As she searched for the small, gray kitten, she happened to hear some strange noises; the noises of another person wandering around. She decided not to investigate the source of the noise, as she wanted to focus on one thing, and only one thing; finding that sly cat. "Well, I suppose that in order to find a cat, you must think like one, and in order to think like one, you must act like one...", she muttered, slowly getting on all fours. She was very hesitant to do so, however, and made sure to check behind herself first. When she saw that there was no one behind her, and not even a single soul, she started to crawl around. 'Well this is rather uncomfortable-', she thought to herself while still crawling. After a few minutes of crawling, she noticed that it wasn't helping her search and she started to get back up. However, getting back up isn't very easy when someone is trying to push you back into the mud. Well- something. "No. N-not now. P-p-please no-", she quietly muttered as she continued to be weighed down by the force. Then, abruptly, it stopped.
"The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. "
