I have only gotten into art recently so my skills are still budding, whereas Katrina is excellent at art, so if you are imagining OOC me doing the art, see it as it is, however, if you imagining Kat doing this, add 5 years of experience and a lot better quality!

~~~ Day 1 - Potion Bottle ~~~

Katrina likes Potions class enough. Sometimes, the colors of the potions get her mind spinning and she sees the boring colors of things in the classroom brighter and almost cartoonish. One class, she took an ordinary cabinet and transformed it into a magical blur of colors. When creativity strikes, you seize the opportunity.

~~~ Day 2 - Hogwarts Express ~~~

Katrina soon found that it was extremely difficult to sketch in a moving train. Her glimpse of a river and the Hogwarts castle became one of Katrina's most cherished sketches. It didn't look quite as good as her others, but it was her first memory of Hogwarts.

~~~ Day 3 - Messenger Owl ~~~

Katrina rarely got owls from anyone, so the first time her guardians reached out to talk to her, she was ecstatic. This was an attempt that she used more cartoonish design, with bold black lines, it was a tribute to her newfound bravery.

~~~ Day 4 - Wizarding Robes ~~~

So this one is the only one that I'm just going to say is NOT the best and is not anywhere near Katrina's level of artistic abilities. Anyway, school robes are much harder than I anticipated to draw so, you can now behold my lack of clothing drawing abilities!

~~~ Day 5 - Brewing a Potion ~~~

Potions are always full of fun colors and experimentation. Katrina often takes that into consideration when drawing and it is always a center for experiments. This was the first time she didn't (and I didn't) do a pencil sketch to start.

~~~ Day 6 - Starry Night ~~~

Katrina is always looking up. In fact, she took her yearbook quote to make this fantasstic piece. This was her first digital art piece on the ipad she is getting for christmas.

~~~ Day 7 - A Wand ~~~

Katrina's wand is one of a kind just like everyone else's. She has spent many times sketching and resketching it to get it just right. This was my best attempt at it and also the first time I decided on a cemented shape! 34.5 cm chestnut wood and dragon heartstring.

~~~ Day 8 - The Great Hall ~~~

Watercolors were a new media for Katrina. She was (and I am) a bit disappointed in the results. However, it is one of her favorite rooms because of the amazing enchanted roof. (Sorry this one is sideways, not sure how to fix it)

~~~ Day 9 - A Broom ~~~

This isn't Katrina's broom because she is terrified of heights. But someone else's broom that she saw and decided that it may as well add it to her collection. Maybe one day it would be the reason she tried to fly one again.
