I'm new to loneliness.. please be my friend
Millie was the child of two muggles, so she had only gone to school with other muggles. At all of her old schools, everyone had the same blood status, they were all muggle-born or they pretended to be. And most importantly, everyone liked Millie. Because of her genuine kindness, people were drawn to her and no matter what school Millie went to, she always became one the popular kids. Millie didn't know what it was like to be lonely until now.
Ever since she had arrived, people had been giving her dirty looks and she was constantly being asked her blood status. Because of this, Millie had barely talked to anyone. Despite being an introvert, Millie wanted friends. Millie didn't know where to go, so she chose to go to the study room under the assumption that a lot of people would be there, though she didn't really like crowds. To Millie's delight, there weren't too many people in the room and most of the people who were in the study room were quietly studying on their own. How sad... Millie thought then realized that she was in the exact same situation as them, maybe worse.
Millie wasn't particularly shy, and she was in need of someone's company, so she looked around for someone who looked approachable. She noticed someone sitting on the far side of the room studying, and decided that they looked friendly. She approached the person and introduced herself.
"Hello, my name is Millie!"
