History/Background Story: 5:13 Am of March 14, 2009, Calantha Amarantha Andreas was born to Derek and Anthea Andreas. It was not a quiet nor peaceful moment as Calantha's cries could wake the dead. This should have been their first sign just how difficult their firstborn would be. Besides the constant demands of attention, Calantha was a happy and behaved child. She became a wonderful older sister to Honora Andreas on July 12, 2011, at 3:02 pm. She did not really start acting out until the age of 3. She was taller than the average three-year-old and could access places others could not, like the kitchen cupboards. Calantha also never slept the entire night, she would only sleep for 4 to 6 hours and her parents could not convince her to take naps. Therefore it became a common occurrence for her to sneak snacks and wake everyone else up at 4 in the morning. Her parents tried locking her doors, however, Calantha would start screaming and crying once she discovered she was locked in. Both parents were afraid something may happen if they put a Silencio in her room, thus led to her being made to sleep with them again. After her younger brother, Jeremy Andreas was born in 2014, Calantha was once again moved to her own room and her door locked. At the age of 5, Calantha accomplished her first act of accidental magic by unlocking her bedroom door and escaping to wreak havoc in the Kitchen on September 18, 2014. The only other instances of accidental magic after this point would be the occasional clothing item or stuffed doll changing color and the unforgettable moment when she was 8 where she and her brother were fighting over a toy she had not played with for a few years and the toy exploded into bubbles. Her mother, a true Ravenclaw if there ever was one, always demanded they read 5 books every year as she believed it to be important that her children have a love of books and had a large expanse of knowledge. In conclusion, her children were able to read books way above the year, and in the case of her youngest child Jeremy, huge Grammar Nazis. On the other hand, Derek tried to bring the love of sports to their children. like any Gryffindor. Calantha and Honora both grew into tomboyish traits although they were not true sports lovers while their younger brother refused to play any sport. Calantha rarely play games with her younger siblings as she always wanted things to go a certain way. For instance, once she was playing legos with her sister, but her sister was playing a character wrong. Calantha got angry and took the lego away claiming that the character was supposed to be planning a coup against the current lego king, who was his younger brother because as the older brother he should have inherited the throne. Soon after she kicked her sister out and often refused to play with them. This has left their relationship strained. Now at the age of 11, Calantha has no friends and a kinda good but not good relationship with her siblings. She knows that she should try to fix what she has done to their relationship and strives to bring them closer. Now on her way to Hogwarts, both her parents as well as her siblings are excited for her to go, more excited than she is. She rather stays home and not talk to people, however, her parents refuse and say she should make 'friends'. Her mother is hoping she will be placed in Ravenclaw while her father prays it is Gryffindor. Calantha honestly does not care although she does have a preference to the house of snakes. Wherever she ends up, she knows that will be the place she belongs.
