Amelia Faye was born to a muggle father and a witch mother on the 23rd July, 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was always a hyperactive child and spent most of her days outside running around with her friends. She usually did well in school, but she preferred to play outside and is more of an athletic than academic type, she hopes to try out for her house's Quidditch team at Hogwarts. Her first instance of magic was when she was 7 years old, a girl had said something rude to her and she had got very upset that she made the girl's glass in her hand explode and splatter water all over the girl (Amelia didn't regret it). Another time was when she was coloring in a coloring book, she needed a green crayon but was too lazy to get up and get it because it was all the way across her bedroom, but somehow, whenever she blinked and looked down, the crayon was right on top of her book, ready for her to use. When Amelia had got her Hogwarts letter on her 11th birthday, she was ecstatic and wanted to get on the Hogwarts Express right then and there, but unfortunately she had a little over 2 months to wait, she had spent the last 2 months of her summer holiday counting down the days until she could board the Hogwarts Express and begin her Hogwarts Journey.

Amelia is a generally kindhearted and patient girl, like most Hufflepuffs, but she is also quite outspoken and wouldn't hesitate to stand her ground for herself or her friends. She has her opinions and she isn't afraid to say them, no matter what others may think of her for it. She is very outgoing and would not hesitate to go over to anyone sitting alone in the Great Hall and strike up a conversation, although like most people, she has her off days. Sometimes she prefers to just stay by herself unless someone comes over to her and starts a conversation. Amelia has no prejudice towards any of the houses as she believes that everyone has a different personality and cannot be sorted under one category, she prefers to get to know the person first before creating an opinion on them but she can get annoyed quickly if someone is unnecessarily rude to her. Amelia is more of an athletic than studious type, she does try her best with her studies and she does get good grades but she will always feel like she has more fun when she's outdoors and doing something physical.

Amelia has naturally brown hair, but she dyed the tips of her hair ombré during the summer before she started Hogwarts. She has brown eyes that resemble a pool of honey when the light hits them just right and fair skin, that tends to burn easily in the sunlight. She has freckles along the bridge of her nose that become more prominent in the summer months when she spends more times outdoors in the sun. Amelia has naturally rosy cheeks and she usually wears little to no makeup, but on the days she wants to put more effort into her appearance she'll usually put on some concealer and possibly some mascara. Amelia is quite confident in her appearance and would regularly think that she looks beautiful.
