Madam Malkin's
I found the store easy enough it was near the middle of the crowd of buildings. It was a short squat building and smaller then I thought it would be on the inside. I was glad this was one of my last places to stop, the day was getting later and my arms were getting tired of carrying around so many bags. Also I might have been a smidge impatient to get this over with so I could go to Ollivanders to get my wand. I smiled about that and headed in the door. There were rakes if odd looking clothes and slightly more normal ones but most of the shop held a rainbow of differnt colored robes. Honestly if I had had a choose I probably would habe chosen a bright pink one nut according to the list I was supposed to get a plain back one. I glanced around the shop unsure of what to do untill a girl something around her mid twenties came up to me with a bright smile.
"Getting robes for Hogwarts?" She asked kindly and I realized shw must have been an employ their. I nod hesitantly, "Yes." I say.
"Perfect, come with me." The very energetic saleswoman said taking my arm, which I honestly didn't really like and pulling me iver to a small stand surrounded by shelves filled with tapemeasurse and the like.
"I'll get you're measurments in just a minute." She said before turning to disappear back into the racks to do something. I glance around uncomfortable and thats when I see someone elese standing near me.

Madam Malkin's
Amelia was a bit nervous about going into Madam Malkin’s, though she had in general been nervous in every shop. Amelia normally loved shopping for clothes, but looking at the strange robes most of the wizards were wearing, and the fact that her list said plain black robes, gave her little hope she would enjoy herself.
She walked into Madam Malkins wearing a Pink T-Shirt, Jeans, and converse, and was overwhelmed be everything she saw. The store was very crowded, and their were beautiful colorful robes everywhere. However, what they had the most of were plain, black robes. Amelia was unsure of where to go when she saw a girl about her age talking to saleswoman. Amelia decided this would be her best chance to figure out where to go, and maybe meet a friend if she was lucky. Amelia really hoped she’d be able to meet better friends in Hogwarts than she did in her hometown.
She walked through the crowd and up to the girl and said confidently, “Hi, I’m Amelia McCarthy, is this where we buy our first-year robes?” Amelia head her hand out to shake, and gave the girl a warm smile. She was shorter than the girl, and had to look up to try to look her in the eyes.

Madam Malkin's
Millie had been waiting to get her measurements taken for about ten minutes now. She didn't know what she expected, but perhaps she had assumed that a wizard store would have faster service? Millie didn't know, and besides, it wasn't her fault. She had grown up with muggle parents and had only ever been to stores run by muggles.
Millie looked around the store and noticed that two girls had entered the store. One was a brunette and the other was a short ginger. Millie knew that she wasn't going to make any friends unless someone approached her. Millie hated being shy, especially when she was the one who had to do the approaching.
People usually approach me...I'm new to this kind of thing, she though. Maybe I can just introduce myself and hope that they carry the conversation? It was the best that she could do, she just hoped they wouldn't be repelled by her. That had never happened before, but then again, these were wizards.
Millie got up from her seat and approached the two girls shyly. She waved at them and introduced herself. "Hello," she said shyly. "My name is Millie Corbyn. And you?" Despite being the "popular" girl at school, she really was terrible at talking to people.
