I was happy to have left the Quidditch store after finally sorting out that frustrating incidint. I now checked my school letter again to see what I needed, books. I glanced around and after a bit of wondering came upon a bookstore called Fourish and Blotts. Quite an interesting name a creative one too and it definatly fits the small but overwhelmingly filled with books shop. There were several other people browsing around, glancing at differnt books and chi chatting but I wasn't interested in the people no it was the books that caught my interests. Their were so many of them and I didn't recongize a single cover. I wished I had more then the few galleons I had been given at the bank to pay for school books because I wanted to buy every book in sight. Some of them were about strange sea creatures I'd never head of, others talked about flying beasts to avoid, the most useful spells, unusal incantions, creative ways to prank your friends and ways to ge back at you're enimes. There were also many fiction books but with almost every book boasting a new and strange color it was hard to tell the difference. I grabbed at book after book glaning at the backs and wondering if Hogwarts library housed any of these books. There was so mch I didn't know about this strane new place I'd been thrust into and I was anxious to figure out how to fit in. I was ready to stand their reading books for hours but I realized I had other school supplies to get and I still needed to find the books I actually needed so I turned to search. It took me a minute but I found a book I needed for class I reached over to grab it but before I could another person plucked it off the shelf.

Lana was once again in Flourish and Blotts, the grainy smell of old books stale in the air. There was really no need to be here since she was a second year, though for her she had to replace all of her first-year books because someone decided to light them on fire when she returned home for the summer. She cursed her best friend Daniel as she skimmed through the shelves, marking off each book's name on her list as she added it to her bag.

Lana had almost been done shopping for all of her things when, unfortunately for her, she couldn't find the last textbook she needed. As she heaved a sigh, she ran her hand through her messy green hair and rummaged through all of the shelves. No luck, of course.

There was one shelve she had avoided though, simply because a girl was doing her own searching and she didn't mean to intervene. Though in a glance she caught sight of the book on that shelf, causing Lana to smile and make her way towards the shelve so she could retrieve it.

The last one.. She had thought, thankful she had spotted it in time. God how draining it would have been to have to wait until they got more. As she turned on her heel, she met her eyes with another girl, shorter than Lana and quite innocent looking. A first year Lana presumed, watching the girls confused eyes. She noticed the girl had been looking at the book in her hand, making Lana figure she needed it as well.

She thought it to be rude of her if she just walked away, so she painfully asked; "Oh, did you need this one too?'

As I reached for the book I needed ftom the shelf another walked up the aisle she grabbed the book from its place turned to walk away when she met my eyes.

Her eyes widened with reconigation as she sae me looking at the book her hand. She probably just didn't see me I think. Thats fine I tell myself tto turn to grab another copy of the book. Thats when I realize the girl is holding the very last one.

"Oh, did you need this one too?' The older girl asks. Its first time I really get a good look at the girl I realize she has very bright green hair and looks slightly tired like shes readu to get done with school supply shopping. I can tell that she really doesn't want me to say yes but I'm unsure what to do.

"Um, well I mean I do need that book but I'll be fine. You can have that one uh, I guess I could wait for the next shipment?" I say then I realize I don't know when I can next get back here. "Or do they have any way of ordering books, maybe they have some in the back?" I stutter out knowing I am one hundred percent demonstrating why I should never be allowed in any social situation ever. I try to give the girl a smile to make her not feel guilty but internally I'm thinking how much I want to disappear. Which of these books had an invisibility spell again?
