Hello! Just wanted some confirmation before I actually do anything - is Peeves still in Hogwarts and are we allowed to dNPC him? And do the nurses have names? Or is there just one nurse? Because in the Hospital Wing description it said 'nurses' at the bottom, but 'nurse' earlier on. Sorry if this is a stupid question haha.

ghosts exist in our setting, but they cannot be RPed. The reason for this is that if we would allow players to play as for example Peeves, on one side we would have to moderate very single use of the character (as he is a canon character) regarding whether it is in line with his canon personality or not, and on the other side we would have to also have to moderate to prevent abuse of the character since some players would unfortunately use Peeves to enforce situations that are forbidden by the rules. This would lead to a considerably work for the staff who moderate the boards, especially since there would need to be discussion about what behavior of a canon NPC is permitted and which isn't.

The Hogwarts nurse is a position that used to be filled by an NPC who might have met an unfortunate end in the main story (this part of the story isn't concluded yet to my knowledge). You can find out more about him and his part of the story by searching for his name: Finlay Vancleaf. In the future, this position might be used as a staff role, but at the moment it would be entirely fine to RP "the nurse" seeing to the ailments of students as there is indeed only one nurse right now.
