Panic Attacks
I am planning on Rose's life taking a darker turn and am thinking of having her have GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) really really bad anxiety, and panic attacks.
I have looked through the FAQ and couldn't find anything like this.
I also looked through this thread, which explained what was allowed and what was not and could not find any mention of panic attacks.
I know that anxiety is allowed, but I wanted to check with the staff first to see if panic attacks are allowed.
I have read the rules linked above thoroughly and am not planning on her doing anything against the rules, like doing drugs to cope or causing any self-harm to herself. I have read up on panic attacks and anxiety and have some problems with anxiety myself, though nothing like I'm planning Rose on having, so I feel like I would be able to write them well.
I completely understand if this would be too disturbing to younger members, or if this would require a lot of work, or if you want me to tag it or something.
Am I allowed to write Rose with panic attacks?
And is there anything I need to clear up?

So, if you are unsure about your writing despite there being nothing in the rules about it, I would just be sure and put a Trigger Warning at the top. From that point it is people's decision if they want to read ahead, you warned them. I wrote a panic attack thread with Opeila once and no one said anything, so it should be fine.

Panic attacks are generally fine to write. What Opeila suggested, would be a good thing to do if you're having doubts. Just remember to be respectful when writing about conditions/disorders (this applies to anything that may be sensitive, really). Other than that you should be fine.

Thank you so so much! Yes, this helps a lot. I will make sure to be respectful to the condition and the people that actually have to go through it and am going to read up as much as I can so it can be accurate, and I will tag it with a Trigger Warning. Thanks again!
