It was a pretty active day here at Hogwarts. Usually, I like activity and noise. Being at a high tension soccer match makes me feel like someone just injected a quarter ton of pure caffeine into my blood, but now, my whole life just changed and that was gonna take some.... scrap that, a lot of time to get used to.
I felt compelled to walk outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I grab my satchel and headed for the courtyard.
Once I got there, I sat on a stone platform and started soaking in the picture. But something was wrong even that was supposed to be enough. Alright, what calms me down more than this.... That's it! I opened my satchel and brought out a sketchpad and pencil.
Back in Scotland, I did some calm pranks rather than daring ones. One of them was the school's "official" graffiti hub where people can express themselves. It was right behind the teachers' lounge that's why I put quotes around official.
I took out the sketchpad and pencil. What was I gonna draw? Let's try something that had to do with my house. A lion.
When I was done, I felt really proud of myself. I was about to go head back in but, I head someone walking this way.

Liz gripped the strap of her bag tighter. It had been a long day of classes and the petite girl was looking for somewhere she could rest. It was a nice sunny day, the birds were out chirping and it was quite warm. This made the blonde girl mad. She missed the winter and the thrill of snow on the ground, the contests with her siblings to see who could stand in the snow barefoot the longest, and most of all building snow men. These thoughts quickly turned the girls mood sour.
She stormed her way down the halls, not knowing where she was heading until she found herself in the courtyard. She paused for a moment to take in her surroundings. There were students everywhere but one caught her eye. A boy, a whole foot taller than her, watching her with brown eyes. She met them with a sharp defiance and made her way over to him, gripping her strap tighter.
"Why are you staring at me, you weirdo?", she started, internally she groaned from her choice of words. Weirdo?, she thought to herself miserably. Man this heat must really be getting to her. She noticed in the boys hands was a sketchbook with a fairly impressive drawing of a lion. She rolled her large brown eyes at the blatant Gryffindorness of this drawing.

I sat back and watched the sunlight hit the trees, the grass and the water, as it sent a flurry of colors out to every surface. Alright, now if you think nothing could ever spoil my mood because of this sunny day with the birds singing and all that, think again.
I turned to the direction the sounds where coming from and I saw a blonde girl coming right at me. I never had the best history with blonde girls cuz they were either trying to embarrass me, hurt me or just making me feel more awkward than I already was. This might come across as stereotypical but not caring about stuff is one of the things that stayed with me when I let home.
"Why are you staring at me, you weirdo"I said, with the faintest hint of frustration""Great. Another girl who thinks I'm a weirdo"I turned back to my drawing and mumbled an insult in Scottish Gaelic. I really hope she didn't hear me or can understand what I said."Let me know when you're ready to apologize"
I continued to add the finishing touches on my drawing. I hoped the girl would apologize because the last thing I wanted was to have someone on my bad side.

Elizabeth blinked at him in mild surprise when he said he would wait for her to apologize? Is this some sort of joke she wondered? Why would she ever apologize? He had been the one staring at her. She let out a tiny snort and then burst into fully-fledged laughter, bending over to rest her hands on her knees. She long blonde ponytail brushed the ground, but she didn't seem to mind. She continued to laugh for a solid 3 minutes before finally calming down into small hiccups.
She looked at him as she straightened herself back up and raised both her eyebrows. "Um. No. I don't think I will. I come from a long Pure-Blooded line of Slytherins and my parents taught me to never apologize. It's weak."she snorted with more amusement. She had to hand it to this kid. He was funny. She hadn't laughed that hard in quite a while.
She stood up straight, trying to look her tallest, which wasn't that tall. Only 4'4. If she had to she would get in a fight with this male. Physically or verbally. She was not going to apologize and that was final. She placed a hand back on the strap of her bag and waited.

As I continued to work on my picture, the girl burst into laughter. "Alright, what the heck was that" I thought. She continued to laugh for about 3 minutes which seemed rather rude if she was mocking me, or maybe nice if she actually found me funny.
"Um. No. I don't think I will. I come from a long Pure-Blooded line of Slytherins and my parents taught me to never apologize. It's weak." the girl said.
"Alright, time to end this" I thought trying to keep my cool outside while burning inside. I let out a small chuckleI stood up with a scowl and straightened my satchel."I see what needs to be done here"I was seeping with rage. Oh, it feels so good to feel like me again!"I come from an extremely short line of Gryffindors, who none of which expected to be in Gryffindor"I let out all my pressure in one sigh and looked back up slowly"I've dealt with bullies of all ages. I've learnt to get back up when I'm down countless times"I managed to smirk a bit. I grabbed my stuff and turned around so I wouldn't have to talk anymore and I could enjoy today peacefully."Tell me why I should care when some girl my age with blonde hair tries to diss me, huh? "
