Coming home supposed to be a happy moment for a child whose been away a year and far from home. It was suppose to be feel like that but for one Cassandra Ironwoods, they dreaded to come home. They know what to expected when they will come home after the Summer Camp. Three days ago just a moment after they arrived at the King's Cross Station, when all the other student directly went into the portkey to go home, the beloved Ironwoods chauffeur waiting for them at the station.

Barclay (the name of the chauffeur) inform the young Ironwoods both of them will take two and half hour up to Bristol. When they arrived at the said destination, it was a nightmare come into real life. Their parents and the other boy parents decided it was a great idea to betrothed their youngsters to one another.

Four days later, Cash and their mother still debating the same subject in the safety of their own home. Cash pacing in front of their mother in their sitting room. "What are you even thinking, mother? I can not be engage at twelve"Cash protested. "I know, sweetheart but your father-"Cash's mom tried to calm her only daughter anger.

"Father thought what? That it is a good idea to marry off his only daughter?"Cash inquires in sarcastic manner. "Don't be like that, love. Your father only want the best for you"Cash's mother look directly at her daughter eyes. "And you are getting along with it? A funny way to show how much both of you love me"The venom that dripping from the purple dyed hair girl hit their mother.

Their mother sigh at Cash exclamation. "Es suficiente (that's enough), Phoenix!"Their mother said in a stern tone. Cash took a deep breath. The green eyes girl know that when their mother called them by their first name, there is no room for argument. "Would it be so bad? The Masons' are a nice bunch and Alec himself isn't so bad"Their mother stated.

This time around Cash too tired to even start a new argument. They look at their mother and sit on one of the many chairs in the room. "It is not that,"Cash sighed and running their hand into their purple dyed hair. "It just-"Cash broke off. They wipe their face too tired to coherent any thought. They are trying to form a sentence but nothing come up into their mind.

Their mother take a seat beside them. Mrs. Ironwoods takes Cash's hand and run her thumb on the back of her daughter hand. "Go on, I'm listening"Cash mother told the young serpent with compassion and gentleness. Cash once again run their hand into their hair. Then they look into their mother brown eyes.

"It just that I feel like you and father have high expectation from me"Cash finally able to form a sentences. "Why did you think that?"Their mom say in a gentle voice. "Is it because who your father and I back then when both of us attend Hogwarts?"Their mother enquires. Cash nodded their head. "Oh sweetie"Their mom reach their head and cradle it.

Out of nowhere Cash broke down into tears. Cash never cried in front other people and their parents, well when they were young, yes but during their teen year never. "Hey, why are you crying?"Their mom asked. "I do not want to disappoint both you and father"Cash said between their sob.

"No, no, sweetheart"Their mom pushed Cash gently away from her and wipe the hot tears that running on the green eyes girl cheeks. "You will never disappoint us"Their mom assure them. Cash let out a broken chuckle. There still unshed tears pooling in their green eyes. "I think-"Their mom gives a small smile toward Cash.

"I think you're the one who give yourself that high expectation"Their mom stated. "I just want you to be the best and strive at everything you do at school and life, and so does your father"Cash mom added. "But I don't want you to lost yourself in the process of it, okay?"Their mom concludes.

Cash nodded their head. Their eyes still red from crying but they understand what their mother told them. "I am sorry for being a hard headed and hot tempered"They told to their mom. "And I am sorry for making you thinking like that"Express Cash's mother. "Sure, both of us have expectation from you since you're our only child but we just want you to be your best self, alright?"Their mom now smile widely.

"Yes, mother. Thank you"Cash stated then hugging their mother. Cash feel like all the heavy burden that they carry since the beginning of school year been lifted off from their shoulders. Their mother hugged her daughter with warmth and rub Cash's back lovingly with a smile on her face.

The relationship of the Ironwoods mother-daughter are far from perfect but they are family nonetheless.
