First Wand.
Cherri walked into Olivanders with ease and grace fitting of a lady, she was accompanied by her mother. The wand shop shelves were stacked to the ceiling with long rectangular boxes and a man stood at the front desk presumably Mr Olivander.
"Ah Elliane how nice to see you after all these years, I still remembered when you first walked through these doors, your wand was 24cm, Oakwood if I recall correctly, I trust it still works quite well?"
"Yes quite well Mr Olivander, thank you." Replied her mother kindly.
"And you must be Elliane's daughter, Cherri, I've been expecting you." Said Mr Olivander.
Cherri nodded and smiled.
"Well, then we better find you a wand, though you must remember it is the wand that chooses the witch or wizard." Said Mr Olivander.
"Right then follow me." Said Mr Olivander as he walk down a long corridor of shelves from behind the front desk.
"Let's see, let's see, ah try this one 25cm Sandalwood." Said Mr Olivander as he pulled out a rectangular box, and revealed the wand inside.
Cherri took the wand with her left hand and was unsure what to do next.
"Give it a wave sweety." Said her mother encouragingly.
Cherri flicked her left wrist swiftly, a spark fired from the wand, causing serval boxes to shoot out from the shelves.
"Nope, that will simply not do." Said Mr Olivander as he pulled out another box from the shelves.
"Give it a go." He said.
Cherri held the wand in her hand, she liked the feel of it, the wand however did not like her, as she flicked her wrist, a vase smashed nearby.
"Alright, try this one." Said Mr Olivander.
Cherri again gave it a wave, sparks flew out in multiple directions.
"Nope, difficult customer, no matter, this one I'm sure of it." Said Mr Olivander optimistically.
Cherri gave it a wave, and the tip of the wand glowed.
"Ah perfect, just perfect." Said Mr Olivander, smiling. "That wand is 25cm cherry wood and phoenix feather, notice the slight bend in its design its perfect for healing and perfect for gaining confidence, perhaps you will follow in your mother's footsteps and become a healer. Now if you would be so kind as to follow me to the counter." Said Mr Olivander.
"Well done sweety." Her mother said to Cherri as they walked out of Ollivander's with the etiquette of a young lady.
