The Hogwarts Express Closed

I sit in the backseat of my dads van, I feel excited but also a bit nauseous. I mean I'm going to a school for witchcraft and wizardery how am I supposed to feel?
"Violet, are you sure you want to go here?" My dad asks for about the fiftieth time.
Yes my dad believed that witches did exist and that I was in fact one of them but he was still quite hesitant to leave me in their care for an entire school year in an unknow part of the country. But despite the fact that I was nevous too, I had never been to a muggle boarding school let alone a magical one. I still needed to go this might be my only chance to leave magic! And I was a bit excited and I wished dad would stop worring so much.
"Yes dad, I want to go." I say.
He was quute for a bit seeming to stew in his worries.
"Do you have all your school supplies?" Mom asks in an attempt to break the awkward silence.
"Yep. I double checked before we left remember."
"Good." She replies with a satisfied nod but dad seems to think of this as another point to intergect his concerns.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yes, dad everythings here. Books, clothes, everything we bought at diagon ally."
"Are you sure? You didn't forget your wand did you?" He asks seeming very nervous about this as soon as he had heard of the object he had wanted me to be very carful with, je seemed terrifed that if i so much as dropped it it could blow up the house, though I suppose tje fact that one of the other failed wands I had tried at Ollivanders had made several tables combust but we had been assured by most everyone dad had grilled with questions that the object wouldn't accidentally decide to fighting me or sending lighting strikes on our car.
"Dad, do you really think I could forget my wand?" I ask.
I hadn't let the object out of my sight since the moment we had purchased it, not for my fathers reasons but for almost the exact opposite, because I was excited about it! I was enthralled that something as simple as thin piece of wood could make things float, teleport people, change objects from one thing to a complete other! I open my suitcase now to hold the beautiful wand again as proof this was all real and not some crazy dream. Its resting inside a small black box on a pice of viloet cilired fabric that oringally held a necklace. I pick it up remembering what the man at the shop had said, "26, 9cm cherry wood and unicorn hair. Inflexiable keen on dicoveries and experiences, that desired an owner in its own image: curouis, dynamic and adventures."
I was loved the fact that it was made with unicorn hair and I longed to see one in person. But the last quality still bugged me. Adventures? Was I really adventures? I had never thought myself the adventures type. Curious? Defiantly. Dynamic? Maybe. But adventures? Usally I stayed in my room then risked going to a party. I had never been outspoken or even done a normal amout of speaking always saying far less then I probably should.
I'm lost in though for that next few minutes thinking abiut how shy and unadventures I was and if I their were thay many other muggleborn students. I didn't want to be that one weirdo who had no idea what anyone was talking.
Finally the car came to a stop at the train station, dad asked me again if I was ok, if i had everything if their was anything ai needed and reminded me to send him an owl as soon as I got to Hogwarts. Mom resurred me telling me everything would be fine, that I wohld figure it out and become an amazing witch. Then in a whirlwind I clumsy ran through the wall between platform nine and ten that they had promised us would allow me to get to platform nine and three quarters. It was a dizzing and unreal experencience, but I made it and their was the train. I was surrounded bt all tyoes of people some in normal clothes others with differnt colored cloaks with wands, some in an odd sort of in-between with robes over plain tees and pointed hats dyed hair.
I smiled at bit at feeling of magicalness about it all and I made my way pushing my trolly towards the magestic, scarlet steam engine on the tracks in front of me.
