I belong... Solo Closed

Blaze entered the Ballroom it was getting quite late but he still wanted to do something before going to bed. "Ehh its only six" he muttered to himself while entering and looking around. His mouth dropped wide open in aww it was beautiful. The high ceiling and beautiful marble floor you could see your reflection in. The scale of the room was massive! Maybe even more so then the great hall. It was the first time Blaze had ever been to the ballroom and he was amazed! He couldn't stop staring at simply everything. The sight had stunned him he had forgotten why he had even come to the ballroom in the first place. Did he even have a reason? 

Then the memory hit him "Oh ye I had nothing to do that's it" he chuckled. "Huh it really is great here isn't it" he smiled and closed his eyes. "I really have been enjoying myself recently," he really had been. He didn't have many friends before coming to Hogwarts. He hadn't really felt like real friendship until now or even love that wasn't towards his family. "Ye it was great coming here," His smile didn't fade it was there bright, wide, happy, real... once again he closed his eyes. "I actually have friends; people I love!" he was shouting now he didn't care if he was heard nor judged he was happy he wanted to show how he felt. "And why shouldn't I!" a tear rolled down his cheek. "I'm happier than ever!" more tears rolling down his face landing on the marble floor below him. 

He was there in the middle of this massive room no one around. "Sure having all these friends is great... but I guess some time alone isn't that bad either," He fell to his knees and instead of getting up he lied on his back on the cold floor.  It didn't matter to him he wanted to lie there so he lied there. "I guess I feel I belong here or something," he was still smiling the most genuine smile he had ever shown. It really did feel that way. "Well, I guess I do belong here... don't I," he paused "Ye I do! Of course I do!" Comming here changed his life for the better. "I guess I feel better than ever before!" 

"Everything I'm saying is so cliche isn't it," but again it didn't matter what people thought. Why would it matter... it didn't need to matter... cause everything was great. Everything he had said and thought up till now was one hundred percent true. It was exactly the way he felt and it felt great to talk to himself about it. 

The floor didn't seem uncomfortable anymore. Blaze couldn't explain it but this all felt so right... he chuckled once more and shouted, "This is where I belong!" One last tear rolled down his face before he got up and walked back to his dorm.
