March 2020

The air was cool and crisp, the sun offered some warmth as the first breaths of spring began to sweep through the Scottish hills. Illowy loved the spring. She loved seeing the earth come back to life and the flower bring back color to the world, bringing new promises for a better year ahead. At least, normally that was what she would think. Lately, her mind was clouded by other thoughts, ever since the attack on Slytherin house, her mind was full.

The snake sat off alone by the lake, her satchel at her side with her notes and quill at the ready, a small stack of books in her lap and another perched in her lap as she tried to study. Despite the cool air, the girl only wore her cloak, a pair of jeans, boots, and a loose t shirt. Illowy had been among the students attacked, and she bore the proof on her skin as black, marbles scars painted her pale skin. Normally, she was keen to hide them as much as possible, but today she'd expected to be alone. The time for her weekly dose of medicine to prevent the curse from spreading wasn't until tomorrow but she could already feel it's burning sensation creeping through her veins in waves. In a way, she'd hoped the cool air might keep the painful sensation at bay, and let her enough focus to study. She felt she'd fallen so far behind in school due to this aftermath.

Taking a deep breath, Illowy flickered her ghostly blue eyes from her book to look out at the water, letting her mind wander for a moment to the future, to finding the cure, to ideas of what summer would bring... she didn't even notice someone approaching as her thoughts consumed her.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

"Hey, um. Sorry to bother you but....you alright?"

I awkwardly greeted the girl, wave my right hand and gave my eleven-years-old silly grin to her. I know i'm not supposed to do this, but i can't make my tongue stay still when i saw strange things exposed in her skin. 'What is that?', i asked to myself. I threw my gaze at that black-strange-thing and i thought that's enough for me to being impolite. So i moved my eyes to meet her face, and realized she looks older than me, and also a Slytherins—i know it from her cloak. Maybe she's a fourth-year? or third-year?. I bit my lower lip and closed my eyes slightly. 'You're not supposed to do this', i repeatly said to myself. But instead leave her in peace, i took one small step closer to her, and groggily sat down at the turf.

'Yeah, Anna, you're not supposed to do this'. I thought, again

I opened my brown sling-bag, grabbed the painting tools and took a deep breath. The atmospheres are nice, warm and cozy. The wind touched my face softly. Beautiful scenery that i saw in front my eyes are indescribable. Perfect! I smiled with joy and can't wait to paint my first task in my little mission named "Paint Every Beautiful Place in Hogwarts". Yeah, these gonna be legends.

I slipped my hair behind my ear. This peaceful atmosphere makes me little bit nervous. I glanced slightly at the girl while i scratched colors on my canvas. My thought whispered, i hoped she would'nt ignore me
