The people who now Katrina now would probably never consider her mischievous. There are perhaps, three people in the entire school of Hogwarts that would possibly consider her snarky or unpredictable, but that would be far from what anyone else had to say about her. However, what no one knew about Katrina, is that in her muggle school for elementary, she was quite the troublemaker. Liam and her were always getting into mischief. They would fill backpacks with water balloons, they would roll toilet paper all around the school, they would tie dye people's gym shirts when no one was looking. However, Katrina had believed that her zest for getting into trouble had died with her brother... but that was not the case.

It had been a long day for Katrina Walker. At last, the day was beginning to cool, and a bounce had returned to her step. There was only one store on Diagon Alley that she had never entered, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. There was really no reason for the graduated second year to waste away time in the store before today. There is a saying that curiosity killed the cat, perhaps it would have been best if this Kat had never decided to swing open the door. Too late for that now.

The instant she stepped foot in the door, Katrina felt that old urge of spontaneity rise up in her. The itch to cause mischief. Magic had a really cool use that she had never thought of... chaos. There was exploding candy and magical games and things she couldn't believe. Snowballs that would chase down your target, stink bombs that were more effective than ones she had ever made, crackers that wrapped you in blue smoke.

There were so many things she could spend her money on. Katrina continued to finger the sad two gold coins in her pocket. She didn’t have enough to purchase anything now, but ideas still sprung forward. So many things to buy, so many pranks to set.

Ideas, long suppressed, surged forth. A wicked smile grew across her face. It seemed there was more to Katrina than first glace told you. Third year Katrina was going to be much more different than second year Katrina. Her victims better beware.
