Sylvain had only just gotten up before a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach told him that the situation with his captive chocolate frogs had devolved into a confectionery disaster. Hopping around his tent were six, slimy footed warm-slick chocolate frogs. Among them was a single white chocolate frog, which left stippled white prints of chocolate on every point at which it landed.

Scrambling to his feet, Sylvain reached for the nearest one, while scooping his satchel up. The lad hadn't time to get out of the shorts and t-shirt that made up his summer pajamas, nor did he have enough time to put on shoes. Instead, he notice something that his tent flap hadn't been properly secured, and the majority of the chocphibians fled from between the slightly opened crease of fabric. Terrified, Sylvain charged after the croakkoa getaways who managed to wriggle free from their confinement within his trunk. How'd they get out anyways, did he forget to secure his trunk last night? There wasn't any time to waste finding out, so out of the tent he went.

Luck being on his side, there were only a few kids up at this earlier hour, and fewer still who seemed to be roused enough to chase the chocolate frogs. Remi and Willow however were nearby and familiar enough that Sylvain called to them for help. "REMI, WILLOW, MY FROGS, HELP!"
One Frog was nearby Sylvain's tent attempting to hide in the roughshod grass at the base of the entrance flaps.

The next two sat as a pair. Both frogs hopped onto the side of a tent whose occupants were vacant already. Posed to leap away from each other, it would take a great deal of cleverness to catch both.

One leapt high into the air, it's still falling form spreading eagle for an emergency landing on a picnic table.

Another frog lept, but was swatted by a Sylvain, and lie wriggling at his feet.

The white chocolate frog was nowhere to be seen, hiding in plain sight.
Looking down to his feet, Sylvain grasped for the frog that lie there in a sweet stupor.

"You can eat em if you catch em, just don't let them get away!"
Action: Bending over to pick up the #5 frog.

"REMI!"
Remi, the unknowing Gryffindor first year, was already stirred awake from some unmovable force of nature. Or, more likely, he was having a home sick nightmare and waking up his own tent near Syl's tent. The dry yet rather captive heat that was too extreme was too much for him to sleep for too long; only napping for 2 hours before waking up.

Looking around in his tent, his tent-mates weren't around and with slight panick that he was alone in this massive tent. Shirtless and sweat clinging to his skin from trying to sleep off the heat, he slipped on his slides and walked outside of his tent.

Almost from the start, he looked over to see one of these frogs things. Chocolate Frogs, not Remi's favorite wizard treats as he was more of fan with Muggle treats, as the candy didn't try to run away every time you tried to eat it. Hearing Syl's cries of losing his frogs, Remi's eyes darted to the slight movement of a brown, coco-skin frog. It was really easy to see it as it contrasted with the green dirt.

As Remi leaned down, attempting to pick up the frog and then it hopped into his hand for a moment and dashing out of it, hopping away.
"Ugh!"
Remi shoot out in disgust as he wiped his dirty, coco-frog slime on his hand and onto his shorts, not caring if it gets dirty or not.
"Find one! Come here, you little freak!"

Willow was on a morning walk around the campgrounds, she was always an early riser naturally due to her family's routines growing up and that had continued on in her time at Hogwarts. She took the mornings to spend time with her brother, or just to have some quiet contemplation for herself.

This morning, there was no time for contemplation on this bright morning as she heard a familiar voice, distressed and calling out for help. She quickly whirled her head around to spot where Sylvain's tent was and ran towards it. "Sylvain, what's wrong-- Oh." Upon arrival she saw so many delicious chocolate frogs jumping about. These were some of his favorite treats, no wonder he was distressed about them getting out. She looked towards the other person who made it before her. It hurt her not to immediately offer him a friendship bracelet, but they had a mission.

Her bright eyes scanned the vicinity of which one would be the most advantageous for her to grab first but she spotted a white chocolate frog, just slightly a different color from the tent it was resting on hiding in plain sight. Willow snuck up on it, trying to look nonchalant, as if she didn't even care about the frog. Before quickly moving it and snagging it in her hands. She caught it just in time to turn around and spot Remi unable to catch his frog. "You gotta be quicker than that! They jump, just by the way." She giggled playfully, she didn't mean it as an insult but might as well have some fun while on this perilous mission. She broke off a leg of the frog and popped it in her mouth before placing the rest of it in her overall pocket and scanning the field for her next victim.

As the frog wriggled in his hand, Sylvain remembered that the only way to stop the critters from escaping was to take the first bite. Reluctantly, Sylvain bit one of the feet off, turning the frog into a mundane bit of chocolate again. Sylvain took a quick glance to reassess the situation around him

Disgust flooded the face of Sylvain's perceptive friend Remi like a mire of frustration, as the frog he held in his hands escaped his grasp before his sleep-deprived reflexes had a chance to clasp and trap the coco-critter. Turning his head towards Willow, Sylvain strained his vision to see if he might spot what she already spied with her twinkling eyes, but like a cat she wiggled before pouncing on a pure white chocolate frog neither of the other two young wizards had been able to spot. "Merlin's beard you've got a good eye Willow," the panicked lad encouraged her, finding a moment of calm in the center of this chocolate frog storm.

"There are some still trying to get away though!" Syl said pointing at the tent next to Remi. The one may have escaped his grasp, but there sat two frogs, side by side. One attempted to sneak off the tent and into the dirt, while the other held still as if it hoped it had turned invisible. Likely it was saving its one-good-jump for the moment one of the trio approached it. Regardless, it was highly likely that Remi or Willow could catch one if not both in a single go. "Grab em and be careful, they like to jump away!" He hoped the two could handle the three frogs somehow, but reluctantly resigned himself to accepting whatever fate became of his choccy buddies.

Grabbing the lid from the nearby aluminium bin, Sylvain made his way over to the camp bench which was laden with a film of damp dew and possessed a few chocolaty foot prints. The wiry mage attempted to use the bin lid to trap the creature. Bringing the lid down with a satisfying THWACK, the sound of the chocolate acrobat pinging off the trash lid provided Sylvain with all the reassurance he needed to determine he'd caught the critter. He hoped it wasn't loud enough to rouse the others, but the lad was not so concerned that he apologized. Before lifting the lid, Sylvain slid his hand underneath it to grab at the elegant escape artist. He looked it in the eyes for a moment forlornly before chomping into it to make it stop squirming. Mouth covered in chocolate, bin lid in hands, Sylvain turned to watch what Willow and Remi would do.
Action: Using a trashcan lid to catch frog #4.
Frog #1: Narrowly dodged Remi, and will get away this turn if not caught.

Frog #2: Still posed to jump, is on the side of a tent near Remi.

Frog #3: Has crawled into the grass to hide next to frog #2. Still has a jump left.

Frog #4: Syl is caught it with a garbage bin lid.

Frog # 5: Syl picked it up.

Frog #6: The White Frog has been caught.

Willow threw a wink in Sylvain's direction with his compliment about her spotting the elusive white frog. "No chocolate thing can get past me, I'm a fiend for chocolate. And Huffles are good finders don't cha know? You basically have an ace detective on you team~" Her voice came out as a sing song to emphasize just how luck he was to have her. She took a small investigative break to spot the rest of the frogs. Briefly watching as Sylvain took up a trash can lid to catch one, she definitely wouldn't eat that one anymore.

She was able to spot two more frogs, one near Remi and the other just kind of chilling by that frog friend. Willow did her best to try and creep up on the pair but the one that was already ready to go, jumped off as soon as it caught wind of Willow. The other, slightly slower in it's reaction found itself trapped underneath Willow's hands when she leaped once more. She took a bite of it's leg proudly, mouth full as she raised it up into the air, "Mm caught another one Sylvain!" She looked around for the frog that had lept away, not seeing any sight of it. For now, she decided to continue scanning the field while treating herself to the current captured frog in her hand.

Spotting Remi catching a frog out of the corner of his eye, Sylvain saw the frog just behind his bold but barely awake friends. Leaning towards the cocoa critter, Sylvain lept and with a flop to the ground, landed on the last of the frogs. Its form crumpled under his lightweight frame as if he were a steam roller crushing pavement.

Thankful that his friends had been nearby to help him when he needed it most, he gave them each another couple frogs from his private stash within his tent. "There's no way I'm going to let that happen again," Sylvain said to Willow as though he had much control over the escape of his toadies. "Thanks again for all your help. I'm pretty sure London would've been fishing chocolate frogs out of their sewers for days if you hadn't helped me when you did." Sure it was a bit of an exaggeration, but the weight of his irresponsibility felt fairly apparent as he said those words. If he was going to get an actual pet next year, he needed to prepare himself on how to care for creatures.
