Henry walked along the Hogwarts express next to one of his best friends; Charles Simmons as they were on their way to begun their second year at Hogwarts. Henry left his trunk in a compartment with his other best friend; Cricket who he met up with earlier and thought she would like to hang out with some other friends so Henry continued down the aisle next to Charles looking for a compartment to hang out in for a bit, well just until Henry went back to his own compartment and Cricket. Henry smiled as he looked over at Charles with happiness flowing through him as he remember his first time on the Hogwarts Express with Cricket by his side as he looked for a compartment and met Eyre Reeves who he doesn't speak to much, I wonder why, last year though Henry was so nervous that he going speak to anyone but Cricket but now in his second year he felt braver and had a new serious if confidence that he gained both last year and over the summer holiday.

Henry looked over at Charles while coming to a halt and spoke " Hey Charles want to sit here," Henry waited for Charles to give him a response before sliding open the compartment door and entering to find a small, nervous looking girl, probably a first year, Henry took seat across from her while leaving room for his friend to sit next to him and spoke " Hi, I'm Henry and this is my friend Charles. Do you mind if we join you," Henry paused then spoke again, " one of our other friends might join us if that's ok?"

Henry turned to his best friend Charles and spoke "I wonder what changed since last year, do you think we got a new defense against the dark arts teacher?" Henry was waiting for his fellow second year slytherin to answer when a young brown haired and brown eyed girl entered the compartment followed by her trunk. Henry her ask if she could sit in the compartment as well, she seems to be a first year as well.. uh that's funny how I'm only a second year but I already can tell the difference between first and second years. Henry looked at the blonde haired first year to see if she'll answer the new comer since this was originally her compartment but she didn't, she must be nervous, I was a first year last year and I still remember how nervous I was, Henry smiled at the new comer as he spoke " Hi, we don't mind go ahead," Henry passed for a few minutes then continued " I'm Henry and this is my friend Charles. Were both second year Slytherin's, but don't worry were not your typical Slytherin's. Let me guess you both are first years?"
Henry was feeling a bit more confidence but also had another feeling like he should go back to his own compartment with Cricket but continued to smile as he spoke again " so who are you guys? Do you guys have any specific house your hopeing to be sorted into or have questions about Hogwarts? Because Charles or me might know the answer since we already experience our first year last year."

Henry smiled at the young girl and looked out the window at the passing scenery,
I should head back to Cricket soon but I can also spend a bit more time here and talk about Hogwarts with Sam and the others, Henry looked back at Sam and the other young girl who seemed like a first year and smiled as he spoke "it's nice to meet you Sam, and yes there's four houses. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff,
they say your house is suppose to be like your family but most don't care what house your in and you can have friends in every house. I actually have most friends in ravenclaw and gryffindor than slytherin,
Charles is actually one if my only friend's who's in slytherin with me."

Henry finished and chuckled a bit as he glanced those his friend then decided to add one more thing as he spoke again " also you should know once your sorted many of the biased house traits that others talk about isn't true, like how hufflepuffs are always kind, Ravenclaw's are nerds, Slytherin's are evil and gryffindor's are brave. Those are wrong, there just the biased traits that most people think of but there all wrong, especially the slytherin one because almost no Slytherin's are evil and you will find almost everyone in our house with a muggle family member, so if anyone says that our house is all pureblood is also wrong," Henry paused then continued again "oh but gryffindor's can also be a bit arrogant, and besides from you who know and his followers there hadn't been any evil wizards in slytherin."

Henry laughed a bit then turned to Charles a bit and spoke again " do you think headmaster Lear's return Charles?"

Henry listened as the other first year introduced herself as Jess and say what house she was hoping for, seems like more rather be in ravenclaw than gryffindor now, I know I did and still kind of do. As Henry through he heard the young girl say that she recognized him and asked if he went to the summer camp to which Henry replied" Yes, I was at the summer camp and Charles was there to actually, we were tent mates along with another mate of ours. Now that I think of it, you sort of look familiar to maybe we saw each other at the welcome BBQ or something." Henry then paused as he looked at the passing fields and bodies of water as he thought he should really get back to his own compartment with Cricket now but also it was still a pretty long train ride so what's a few more minutes. Henry then saw that Jess didn't put her trunk on the rack above them so he got up from his seat as he spoke "here let me help you with that," as he lifted her trunk above their heads and into the rack above them before retaking his seat and saying " so you think your going to be a ravenclaw? That's cool, I actually hoped to be sorted into Ravenclaw last year to but instead I was sorted into slytherin just like my brother and father."
