Dear Professor Jensen,
My sincerest apologies for not reaching out to you sooner. By this time I assume you barely remember our last encounter as I am sure you deal with hundreds of students on a daily basis, but I still have one of the flowers you conjured up in the courtyard a couple of months ago pressed between the pages of one of my books, and it occurred to me that I have not yet expressed any gratitude for that day.
For that reason I have crafted a little present; I so hope you like tea. If not, I hope you will at least enjoy the little enchantment that is supposed to make the animal come to life once put inside water. I haven't tried it out myself yet but I think it should be entertaining in a way.
However, I had another reason for sending you this letter. Maybe I should be reaching out to my own Head of House, but you were the first Professor to have ever offered me to be someone to talk to and I was wondering if you were, maybe, still open for me to take you up on that offer? I don't mean to intrude on your certainly busy schedule at all, but if you did have a few spare moments for me, I believe I would quite like to get the chance to... talk to someone.
Please let me know if and when you might have some time.

Dear Mister Tân,
First of all, you have nothing to apologise for. The offer was there for whenever you required it, without any time restrictions. Second of all, you expressed your gratitude on the day itself. I do recall the day. Whilst I may see hundreds of students in a day, not everyone gets flowers from me or pranking 101 lessons. That being said, I do love tea and the little fellow is currently moving around my cup as I write this. Admittedly, I was unaware that tea bags could be rather cute.
How about tomorrow? Our newly appointed Caretaker has an office, which you should find in the North Tower. We can borrow his office for a chat, after dinner - say, 7PM? It's close to your common room so you should have no trouble getting back before 8pm this way.
