Sophie trudged up the stairs of the West tower, and pulled open the Owlery door. The Owlery was cold, from all the opened, windows? And the place smelled of dead mice and owl droppings. Sophie however clutched a large letter in her left hand, and was staring at a beautiful large snow white owl. The owl had black wing tips and black talons. She'd walk towards the owl. "Hey Kiyoko. Got this letter here for you." She'd hold up the letter in her hand to show the owl. The letter read;

Dear Ruby Murphy (Mum)

How are you? I'm doing quite fine here at Hogwarts, its beautiful here, and I'm keeping an average A! I know its not perfect, but its still better than a P, or a T! Anyway, I did cry a bit when I heard about Kiki's death. But a girl named Claryssa (Clary as she is preferred to be called) comforted me, and we're friends! She is in Ravenclaw. And you know the girl I told you about in my last owl? Aliea Frost. We're definitely gonna start the House-Study! I'm excited, you know! Anyway, Zero and I barely talk anymore. (She got into Slytherin) But of course, we're still good friends! Anyway, I'll see you when breaks begin! Love you mum.

                                                                                                                 XXX Sophie Murphy

Sophie swiftly tied the letter to her beautiful owl and allowed her to fly off, hearing thumping footsteps and the door to the Owlery open.

Goodbye lovelies!

It had been a while since Aliea had talked to her mother. She skipped every other step while going up the tower, eager to share all her experience and adventures in Hogwarts. Her letter was in her hand, sealed red with the Gryffindor's lion. As she opened the door to the owlery, she found her friend Sophie standing in the circular stony room. Aliea's eyes widened in recognition, before rushing off to greet hre friend. "Sophie! I guess you already sent your letter off." Aliea nodded to her blonde friend.

She looked around the small room, trying to locate the owl she previously used to send her last letter.  The room was pretty cold, winds freely blowing through the open windows. She walked over to a barn owl, their heart shaped face curiously turning to face her as she neared. She didn't have an owl, so she had to use the school's. Aliea didn't particularly mind; she was pretty familiar with the barn owl by now. Gently ruffling the feathers on the top of their head, she tied the letter to the owl's feet after showing the address. "You know who to send this to, right?" She smiled to the owl, before letting them fly off.

After sending off her letter, Aliea turned to Sophie and smiled. "Who did you send your owl to? I sent it to my mom. We haven't talked in awhile." She started walking towards the staircase that led to the platform, where they'd be able to see Hogwarts and the school grounds. She stood looking down at some students who were walking down below, brisk winds blowing through her messy brown hair.

Sophie smiled as the door opened to reveal her fellow Gryffindor Friend, Aliea! She swiftly smiled in return.
"Sent mine off to my mum, my owl, Kiyoko's mum, Kiki passed. I was really close to her, so, you know.. Just thought my mum would like to know I'm doing fine! Of course, I'm never doing fine." The scrawny Gryffindor girl seemed a bit down about the news she had heard so much. Of course, the news still got her down, but she had to remember. 'You must live on, it does not do you good if you cry about something that has already happened, and if you keep crying, you'll miss out on something big and something you will care about.' She'd remind herself. She'd sigh, before smiling a bit, trying to recover from her brain malfunction.
"Anyway, what were you writing about? I'm thinking about writing to Mr. Ollivander about some wand lore I want to learn about. My wand itself isn't too cool, but, it is special because its mine. And I would love to be a wandmaker. Along with An Auror or a Muggle Therapist. But you never know!" Sophie would grin, trying to make herself cheerful once more.

As Aliea stood on the owlery platform, she turned around to face Sophie. She sent a sympathetic look, walked over as she gave her friend a warm hug. "I'm sorry to hear that," She spoke in a quiet voice, hoping that the blonde Gryffindor would feel better. "In my letter, I wrote everything I've experienced during my time in Hogwarts, including you, Sophie." Aliea smiled softly, and continued speaking while glancing at her friend. She seemed to be making an effort to be cheerful once again. "Hmm... I don't know what I should write about in my next owl. Although owling Mr.Olivander sounds cool." She thought back to the time when she received her first wand, and when she was able to cast her first spell. I should go visit the wand-maker's shop again, thought Aliea.

Breaking out of her thoughts Aliea cast a glance back at Sophie once again, and walked back towards the windy platform. She beckoned Sophie to where she was standing, pointing down below. "Hey Sophie! Come join me. It's a great view. You could see practically everything from here." She looked back down, sighing with no particular reason. "I guess I'd like to become someone who works with charms or potions... Maybe even herbology. My mom is a herbologist." She added, thinking about what she wanted to study in Hogwarts. "Though wandmakers and aurors sound like a cool job to have. I'm not sure about what Muggle... Therapists do, so you need to tell me about them." Aliea added, smiling sheepishly towards her best friend.

Sophie grinned and ran over to where Aliea had beckoned her. You really could see everything.
"Though wandmakers and aurors sound like a cool job to have. I'm not sure about what Muggle... Therapists do, so you need to tell me about them." Aliea said, quite sheepishly.
Sophie laughed at this. Aliea was raised by Wizarding heritage, as Sophie, but Sophie's mum was Muggle-Born, and preferred to use the Muggle way, whether than a magical way.
"A therapist is a kind of career, or person, who works out peoples problems, beside their own. They're skilled in Psychology, most of the time, others, are skilled in Physical, but that's not the kind I want to be. A mental/emotional therapist, Helps you overcome hardships in your life, stuff like that. I mean, it would be so cool!" She'd giggle at the end of her statement. 'Because I'm nosy as a cat! I bet if I've known every persons problem, I'd beg to know nothing, just like so many people. I bet that I'll never learn anything, that a witch would know to protect herself, If I become a muggle employer. I'll never be anything- But that's not gonna stop me.' Sophie thought with a type of confidence.

Aliea nodded as to Sophie's explanation. That made a lot more sense. "So, basically. Muggle therapists are people who help others right? And they differ from mental, physical and emotional therapists right?" She smiled. "That seems like a great job to have. Helping people, I mean." She stole a glance towards Sophie as the girl giggled. Aliea smiled, watching her friend practically glow with confidence. It was nice talking to Sophie out here in the owlery, a drastic change from the Common Room, where they usually met. What what she meant by drastic change, was drastic change. Straw were scattered all over the floor, as well as dead carcasses of rodent. Not to mention the foul smell that was emitted from... owl droppings. Aliea scrunched up her nose. Though it was bearable, thanks to the wind that were constantly blowing in and out of the small stone room.

Looking back at the blonde Gryffindor she'd gotten close over the months, she let out a soft hum. "Hmm... What should we do now?" Aliea was quiet, finger tapping against the ledge. "You and I both sent our letters off. And I've got nothing else to do for today. Do you have anything else to do?" She inquired, eyebrows arched, her mind racing with countless possibilities. Aha. Found one. "Hey, Sophie." Her eyes were now gleaming, let out a crooked smile as she stared at her friend. "Let's do something fun. Like... pranking!"

"Ah, Pranking. The best sport of them all. But alas, my last prank did not go so well. Hm. We will need to start getting ready for that House Study. Maybe, while we're pranking, a bit of thinking could never do us wrong?" It wasn't the easiest thing to double-task, but Sophie could do it. Not with ease, not with difficulty. It just... came, to her. Something natural.
Not all natural things were great, of course.
"Do you think people in Azkaban can receive owls? I-I sent one to Harry Potter, though I don't know if Kiyoko actually got the letter to him. I-I also sent a letter to my dead uncles. Kiyoko just, dropped it off at their grave. No sign of harm, or anything. I really do miss them." The scrawny girl shrugged. She had never met her uncles, and she never will. But she would remember how when her parents used to be happy, they would tell her stories, with her Auntie Aurora.

'I want to be the godfather!' Yelled a young man. It was in a joking tone. A young woman laying in a hospital bed at St. Mungos. She was laughing. It had only been an hours time since the young woman's daughter had been born. The Healers wouldn't let the young woman see her daughter yet, as they were doing tests on her brain. Of course, the two young men were trying to make her laugh. The second woman was slightly older and she was sitting nervously in a corner, another man next to her, looking just as anxious
'No I want to be the godfather!' Yelled the second man. The woman in the bed silenced them with a wave of her hand. 'Theo, James, you both can be godfathers. That is if-.' The woman in the bed was cut off with a sharp, 'No. Ruby. My parents will be the godparents of her.' The young man sitting in a corner stood up. This was his wife. 'They're nearly dead! Whats the point?' Replied The woman, she was staring fiercely at the man. The two were bickering. 'Look at them! Bickering like an Old Married couple! You'll turn out like mum and dad!' Called out the two men. Even the second woman laughed.

It was the only memory Sophie had of her uncles. She missed them dearly. But if they saw her now, they'd be proud.
