Henry sat silently and alone at a table in the library reading about on advanced charms. He would have like to be spending the day with his friends but they were all busy, either in a class, catching up on some homework, or doing something else so Henry was left alone with his time not that he minded. He perfer it sometimes, it gave him a chance to read and to be alone with his thoughts as he sat at that table surrounded by a stack on books that he picked up when he first entered the library which he was already halfway done with.

Henry would occasionally looked up at the other student's who were laughing and joking with their friends instead of studying, he slightly rolled his eyes at their immaturity but he also slightly chuckled a bit at their friendship and playfulness as he remember joking and getting into mischief with his own friends in their first year at Hogwarts. As Henry turned the page in his book and continued to read, he started to hear a particular conversation between friends white loudly so he looked up and saw at the table besides him sat a group of friends who were talking at a loud tone that he could hear every word in their conversation.

Henry bit his lip a bit from annoyance by the group if students who were discussing their business at such a loud tone that the whole library would hear them. Henry shook his head as he continued to read but found he couldn't as the conversation from the table next to him kept distracting him.

Heather leaned back on her chair, snickering at a joke one of her friends made. She, along with a few other students, was currently in the library, all supposedly "studying" together. In reality, though, they were talking about everything, except for the subject they were supposed to.

While she was physically present with them, Heather's mind wandered every couple of minutes to the book sitting currently into her lap, an encyclopedia of some sorts about the history of wizarding books. Ever since she found that she was a wizard, and subsequently came to Hogwarts, she wanted to learn everything she could about this new world, a world her father lived in all those years ago. Somehow, it made her feel like she was a bit closer to him that way.

That being said, the girl's eyes were curiously skimming over the pages, when she noticed a list of some books which, judging by their titles, were very important... Of course, Heather was intrigued; What were they about? The Ravenclaw made a mental note to search them later in the library and, if she could, to borrow-

"Oh?" Looking up, the girl locked eyes with one of her friends, who was calling out her name. When the said friend repeated its question, jokingly, Heather nodded, grinning. "Ah, yeah, I was only looking over this book, but I was still paying attention to what you were saying; I'm sure your words will help me with my Potions homework!" As she heard her group start to joke again, Heather let out a loud laugh, throwing her head back. For a moment, she wondered if her table wasn't annoying the others around them. They were loud, too loud, said her rational part- but they were just having some harmless fun, said the childish one. And besides, the other students were all looking too grumpy, they needed to loosen up a bit.

Looking around them, Heather's gaze faltered on the boy sitting on a table beside them; He was a Slytherin, considering his robes, and from the way he glared at the table where Heather was, he didn't seem too pleased with their loudness. Turning back to her group, albeit a bit embarrassed, Heather bit the inside of her cheek and nudged her friends. Before she could tell them to quieten a bit, one of them splashed his ink all over his parchment and hands, then rubbed his hands over his face, making an even bigger mess. Heather started laughing, forgetting about her momentary worry about the volume of their voices.

Henry held his book tight in his hands as he read about advanced charms, he wanted to prove to his professor that he was ready to learn a couple advanced charms that he has been reading about for a few month's now. As Henry turned the page he heard the table next to him start laughing, quite loudly so much so that Henry looked up and found his grazed on one of the boys who seemed to have spilled his ink on himself and their table, what an idiot, Henry shook his head as he continued to watch them and accidentally make eye contact with another girl at the table besides him.

Her blonde hair and blue eyes had Henry make eye contact with her, what wanting to seem rude he gave a small grin as he quickly broke the contact and looked away. She probably thinks I already am rude and mean since I'm a slytherin and that's the first thing you think of when you see a slytherin when I'm the complete opposite but it doesn't matter it's not like your going to become friends or see each other again so maybe let's not be mean but use of slytherin cunning.

Henry never played a joke or prank since arriving at Hogwarts and he was already in the middle of his first year so he smiled as he thought what go wrong with one harmless joke. Henry held his wand concealed in his robe shelve as he muttered under his breath"Tarantallegra," while pointing his wand at the boy who spilled his ink all over himself. Soon he started to dance and Henry couldn't help but slightly chuckle as student's from all different houses started to surround that boy while pointing and laughing.

While Heather was laughing loudly along her friends, her gaze wandered once again back to the Slytherin boy. When they locked eyes, the Ravenclaw frowned a bit; he only let out a small grin before looking away.

Reluctantly, the girl moved her gaze down to her book, before setting it on the table; trying to shake off the weird feeling she had- while she had a fair share of Slytherin friends, one of her closest pals being from that house- Heather was feeling like she was only now seeing, for the first time, the famous cunning nature of the Slytherins. Though, the boy hadn’t done anything to them yet.

Shrugging, the girl tried to bury her gut feeling; she was probably reading into it too much. As the others continued to laugh with the poor boy who had ink all over his hands, face and parchments, the Ravenclaw shook her head, getting her bag and searching for any kind of tissues inside it. Usually she was prepared for everything , and soon she found what she was looking for. Just as the blonde girl stood up, ready to go next to her friend and help him, he suddenly started dancing!

Perplexed, Heather almost burst out laughing, before she noticed a pattern- she couldn’t put her finger on it yet, though. As other students started pointing and laughing at her friend, Heather stopped being her joyful self, frowning; he seemed like he wasn’t having fun anymore, so he clearly didn’t want to dance so awkwardly; after all, who would want to dance with such bad moves... those moves! Now she recognized them, those moves she had painfully watched while she exercised her dancing feet speel on those equally terrible skeletons- the more she looked at her friend, the more she was sure she was right. For Merlin’s beard, she got an O for that charms homework! But then who would prank her friend?

Looking around, Heather didn't notice anything strange; just as she turned back though, she caught herself looking at that Slytherin boy once again; he was chuckling, acting all cunning, like he was up to mischief; that, combined with the sudden memory of her previous gut feeling, made Heather realize who was the culprit here. Sitting up straight, the posture making her seem even taller than she already was, Heather narrowed her eyes. As she heard her name being called out, she turned to her friends and, telling then to take the boy outside and calm him down, she promised she would stay behind to clean up the mess. That was the truth, but only partly.

After she finally cleaned up the table, he Ravenclaw took the book she was previously interested into and, slowly, approached the boy who had been sitting beside them. As she gazed over the books he had on his table, she let out a small smirk. „Advanced charms? Judging by how good you were at using that spell before- and making my friend embarrass himself- you would have no problem with more complex spells!” After a small pause, Heather furrowed her brows. "Why would you do that though?"

Henry turned back to his book after a few minutes and hadn't notice the coward of student's leaving or group next to him leaving either. Henry was still trying to practiced a advanced charm that his professor already lecture him that he wouldn't teach him nor should he learn it on his own, but I am learning it and when I do I'll show you which hopefully that will get me even more advanced lessons with you.

"Advanced charms? Judging by how good you were at using that spell before- and making my friend embarrass himself- you would have no problem with more complex spells!” Henry heard from above him and he looked up to find that ravenclaw girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, frowning at him apparently as she continue"Why would you do that though?" Henry looked at her and thought for a few minutes, unaware of what he should do. While he had more friends in other houses than slytherin, with multiple being in ravenclaw he never did anything to anger or upset them so this was new to him.

Should I admit it or lie, I always have been a good liar but what if she'll see through it? It's worth a chance isn't it and plus just because you don't get along with one loud ravenclaw doesn't mean your a typical slytherin, don't you have way more friends in other houses than you do in slytherin not to mention your best friend is a gryffindor and your crush is a ravenclaw so your still not a typical slytherin no matter what you do.Henry's thoughts were spiraling around in his heads he continued to looked at the Ravenclaw's light blue eyes.

"I have no idea what your talking about, I have been studying a few advanced charms for my advanced charms lessons with the professor nothing more." Henry paused and tried a sly smile that was entangled with fear and worry in his eyes, so lying wasn't bad and it's not like she knows, as he continued" If that was me then your right I can handle casting a advanced spell and would have use one of those instead of that first year one, probably silencio-" Henry paused again then turned back to his book as he continued "But if you are going to accuse me of something then you better have some evidence first."Henry smiled and continued to act as if he was reading when he was really more focus on their conversation.

As Heather was expectantly standing in front of the Slytherin boy, waiting for him to answer, she quietly took in his reaction to her words. His head turned towards her, his blue eyes meeting hers.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, I have been studying a few advanced charms for my advanced charms lessons with the professor nothing more." The Slytherin replied, and for a moment, the Ravenclaw swore she saw something in the boy's eyes- a hint of worry, that was quickly covered up with the famous sly smile every member of the 'House of the cunning' seemed to be able to recreate. Before she could have time to think about this, though, he continued to speak.

" If that was me then you're right, I can handle casting an advanced spell and would have used one of those instead of that first year one, probably Silencio, but if you are going to accuse me of something then you better have some evidence first."
Raising her eyebrows, a bit shocked, Heather looked down at the book in her hands. As she absentmindedly tapped her fingers on the cover, she thought about the boy had just said; he had a fair point, she couldn't accuse him of anything, she had nothing concrete to prove her theory after all. But still, while she didn't have any proof that he was the one who cast the spell on her friend, her gut feeling told her otherwise- and usually, her instinct was right.

Feeling a bit annoyed by the Slytherin's apparent disinterest at their discussion, Heather shook her head, biting her lip. "Whatever you say, ragazzo. I'll give you the benefit of doubt, for now. But just because I don't have the evidence to prove that you are the prankster, it doesn't mean that I don't believe that... You know, now that I think of it, I've never stated what spell had been used on my friend, but you still seemed to know what I was talking about; and you didn't approach our table, either, while everyone started to surround us, so you could hardly see what was happening."

Letting out a small smirk, Heather innocently shrugged. "But, as I said, I have nothing to prove my point, just my sense of observation. And besides, from what you've said before, you were too busy reading these," the blonde girl pointed to the stack of books that were in front of her, "to actually be bothered by my group." Heather replied, her voice laced with sarcasm while she said the last words.

Henry continued to pretend to read his book while he thought about on the bad things that could come from this, he then heard the blonde haired girl speak "Whatever you say, ragazzo. I'll give you the benefit of doubt, for now. But just because I don't have the evidence to prove that you are the prankster, it doesn't mean that I don't believe that... You know, now that I think of it, I've never stated what spell had been used on my friend, but you still seemed to know what I was talking about; and you didn't approach our table, either, while everyone started to surround us, so you could hardly see what was happening." Henry continue to graze at his book and pretend to read while he lied again but just time in a uninterested voice " once I heard laughing I saw from the corner of my eyes the dancing your friend was doing and paired it with the spell that causes it since I am so advanced at charms." Henry have a sly smile as he continued to pretend read but really starting to think.

Alright were just bickering a bit, not that bad and I still don't come off as a typical slytherin or I'm still not like the typical slytherin if I chose to bicker once and cause one silly prank that doesn't make me a mean or evil slytherin just more like cunning or mischievous plus I have other Slytherin's I don't really like so what's the harm with not getting along with one ravenclaw. It's not like she's going to jinx me or anything wait will she! Bloody hell I didn't think of that ok how I'm starting to rethink what I did.

"But, as I said, I have nothing to prove my point, just my sense of observation. And besides, from what you've said before, you were too busy reading these, to actually be bothered by my group."Henry heard the girl speak again but this time with sarcasm, so Henry closed his book and placed it on his neatly stacked pile of books as he stood from his chair and turned to face her. Henry noticed that were surpisey the same size, she might even be one inche taller than him, ok that's odd usually I'm the tallest now I'm a bit worried, Henry looked the girl in the eye trying to hide his fear and worry as now they stood at the same height, literally.

Henry wasn't sure what to do now so he took a hidden breath and did a sly smile again as he thought about what to say. After a few minutes Henry finally thought of what to say and he continued his sly smiled as he spoke to the girl in a mischievous while quiet sort of way " your right I was to busy studying and reading than to pay attention to you and your friend's which are quite loud and obnoxious,"Henry paused for effect while he continued a sly smile then spoke again " if inane chitchat is your version of studying then you all must be use to getting Troll's and dreadful's." Henry continue standing and staring at the girl while he gave a sly smile, he never did this with anyone before and would never do this with anyone else but he sort of enjoyed doing it with this girl.

"Once I heard laughing I saw from the corner of my eyes the dancing your friend was doing and paired it with the spell that causes it since I am so advanced at charms." As she heard the Slytherin's answer, Heather puffed. "So advanced at charms? Now, you are being too modest! I'm sure that not even a bloody seventh year could make the connection between those ugly dance moves and the dancing feet spell!"

As she continued to speak in a sarcastic tone, the girl started to feel more and more annoyed with the boy's demeanor. Though she was usually a calm person, Heather had bottled up a lot inside her- and whenever she got mad, all those feelings erupted like a volcano. Sadly for the Slytherin boy, one of the things that angered the Ravenclaw the most were people who made fun of others- especially if they were her friends.

As the boy closed his book and stood up, Heather noticed they were standing at similar heights- the fact didn't startle the Ravenclaw, but actually made her a bit happier, considering that she was getting tired of looking down while talking to other kids her age. Straightening her posture, she glared at the boy. For a moment, she noticed the same glimpse of worry she had seen earlier in his blue eyes, and her features softened up a bit; Heather was trying to see the good in everyone most fo the times, maybe the Slytherin boy was more affected by the issue than he let it be seen.

Her small moment of concern was cut short though when he started talking again. Raising her eyebrows, Heather slightly widened her eyes. How dare he insult her and her friends like that! Shaking her head, the Ravenclaw looked down, biting the inside of her cheek. So he really wanted to see her bad side? Trying to calm herself, Heather took a deep breath. Looking back to the boy, she gritted her teeth, trying to smile. "Don't worry about me and my friends, we are so used to being at the top of our classes that we only meet at the library to catch up! Unlike other people," Heather trailed off, eyeing the pile of books on the boy's table, "we can study very well, even when there is a bit of noise around!"

While she was annoyed with the boy, the Ravenclaw felt a strange satisfaction with their small quarell.

The blonde haired girl replied while Henry noticed by her robes that she was a ravenclaw, maybe mentioning grades wasn't a good idea since some Ravenclaw's like to boost about it but maybe she's not one if them, Henry noticed her eyeing his own neatly stacked pile of books and spoke to her with a sly smile while trying to keep his voice cool instead of worried or panic, " noticed my books, eh, well then take a closer look and you'll see that their all on advanced or restrictive magic just for some extra practice since the classes are a bit simple, at least for me."

He glared at the blonde haired ravenclaw girl and sort of enjoyed this thing that he would never have dare to try with anyone else. As he gave a sly smile he could feel some of his worry enter into his eyes he try to ignore it he spoke " From the looks of it through you don't seem like a ravenclaw, loud and obnoxious in the library instead of huddle in a corner with a book hoping to learn from it, yeah you seem more like a gryffindor being as obnoxious and rude as you are." Henry continue to look at her with curiosity and enjoyment because while he knew that it was wrong and he would never do this again, he enjoey bickering and trading insults with her for some odd reason.

As she heard the Slytherin boy say that, Heather felt a grin tug at her lips. She was annoyed, that was very much obvious, but a small part of the girl kind of enjoyed this small quarrel. Usually, whenever she acted less nice than the usual, people became scared of the Ravenclaw- but not this boy, or at least he tried not to; neither of them was backing down, it was like a challenge- who would get to have the last word.

"Oh, so just because I'm a Ravenclaw I should be acting all nerdy, and bury my nose in the books all the time?" Raising an eyebrow, Heather continued. "Then, if we are going to stereotype people judging by their houses, I could say I know for sure that you are the prankster! After all, aren't Slytherins usually perceived as the mean ones?" With her impulsivity and adventurous nature, it wasn't unusual that people mistook the blonde girl for a Gryffindor and, while she didn't mind it, she learned to enjoy the little time she spent being a Ravenclaw.

Suddenly remembering something, Heather checked the book she was holding all that time... She had to find those titles she'd read about. Moving her gaze back to the Slytherin boy, the taller girl shook her head. "Anyways, even though you deny it, we both know you are the one who cast the spell. While I enjoyed our chit-chat, I have to go and find some really interesting books and bury my nose in them, like the Ravenclaw I am. I only hope that your conscience, if you have one, will punish you more than anyone else could. Bye-bye!"

Turning around, Heather flipped her hair a bit dramatically back and went towards the section where the books should have been. After a while, because she couldn't seem to find them, she decided to ask the Librarian. Her response, though, shocked Heather: the books were in the Restricted Area!

Frowning, the Ravenclaw had a dilemma: she wanted to read the books, but no Professor would give them to a first-year! Sadly, the girl had to forget about them; they were out of her reach. Unless... Maybe if she sneaked into the Restricted Area, she could 'borrow' them, without the Librarian's notice! Smiling triumphantly, Heather decided where her next stop was going to be. Now, she only needed a plan, and someone willing to help her.
