Irrationally Incoherent Irreverence
It hadn't taken much for Ethen to jump at the opportunity to spend a bit more time away from home. Not that he didn't miss his home, but most of his life had been in Africa and there was still so much in the Isles that he had yet to see. Not only that, he had a team that would need his support as they flew to victory. Ethen was somewhat useless at quidditch himself but his best friend was on the team and he knew it would mean a lot to her to know he was there supporting her. He had only been able to see a few games before and it seemed exciting to watch such an important game.Sharing much of the external look of the majority of the other tents, this particular tent seemed to have been all but forgotten by the planners. Upon entry, one would be greeted by an almost eerie nothingness. It was plenty expansive within and had several rooms all completely empty and void of any decorum. Beyond a mysterious trail of crumbs leading out of the room, there was nothing to speak of in the tan tent walls. While being a perfect illustration of nothingness, it was also a representation of limitless potential. For those foolish or unlucky enough to stumble in would have full command over their temporary little home. Whether or not it would remain an empty, mostly clean, tent would depend entirely on the band of delinquents that would claim it. Even a single soul could transform the empty tent into something beautiful or damage it beyond repair through a love of chaos. Only time would tell what the poor tent would face in its lonely quiet halls.
Tent Inhabitnts:
Ethen Emrys
Should you wish to join this savage empty tent, feel free to let me know.
Having only a large backpack of supplies for his time, Ethen assumed he would be able to 'borrow' or find anything else that he would need and he heard that the enchanted tents would be filled with all manner of useful things. Meandering through the collection of tents, Ethen kept his eyes peeled for one that looked like no one was using it. He knew most people had formed little groups to be in tents together and he didn't want to impede on any of their fun or catching up. He was perfectly happy to find his own secluded tent and if others ended up wandering in he would do what he could to try and make some new friends.
But even a relaxing few days on his own sounded like a good way to spend his time celebrating the successful completion of his first chaotic year. After scoping out a tent that looked like no one was using it, Ethen confidently strolled inside the flaps and stood just in the entrance letting his back pack rest at his side. To his surprise, the tent was completely and utterly empty. Not just empty of people but there didn't seem like there was a single item in the entire tent. It looked massive inside but there wasn't a single chair, bed, table or even a discarded cup.
"This...is perfect," Ethen smiled tossing his backpack to the side as he began exploring the large tent. Without furnishing, it was difficult to tell what each section was intended for but Ethen's mind began to swirl with ideas. "What is that? We need a teepee? You are right," Ethen said to no one but himself with a growing smile.
With the tent being so barren, Ethen assumed it meant that he could fill it with just about anything he wanted. A barbaric and savage lawless tent seemed like just the home for the young boy. Scuttling back outside, Ethen spent a fair amount of time carrying any loose sticks he could find around the area back into his tent. He had packed a fair amount of rope in his backpack and had built many rudimentary structures while out in the bush so he felt right at home binding sticks together to form a decently sized teepee in the middle of the empty tent. He only had a single blanket inside his backpack but draped it over the stick structure.
Smiling at his creation, Ethen could feel his stomach grumbling slightly. "Hm...I need some rocks," Ethen said getting another bad idea. Finding enough good-sized stones outside the tend proved much easier than loose sticks but he quickly ferried them back into the tent. Making sure to leave the tent flaps open a bit for ventilation, Ethen made a small ring with the rocks and placed a flat stone at the center. Grabbing one of the small sticks he hadn't used for the teepee, Ethen broke it up into a bunch of twigs that he placed on the rock. Pulling some matches from his backpack he lit the sticks on fire while trying to keep the flames as small as possible not wanting to burn down the entire tent before he even spent his first night.
A fire in a tent was undoubtedly a bad idea, but Ethen had decided that he would turn the nice tent into a primitive little village and no village would be complete without a small fire pit. When the flames were under control. Ethen took a small bag of marshmallows from his backpack and skewered one of them on a loose twig. Holding it over the tiny fire, Ethen waited happily for it to brown before devouring it. As it cooked, Ethen peered around the mostly empty tent smiling as he considered the limitless possibilities. He had already erected a makeshift teepee and fire pit. With enough time, he didn't doubt that he could completely transform this empty tent into something both hazardous and relaxing.
