TENT ~a paradoxical peace~ PV Closed

Tallis eventually arrived to the tent that she had been invited to for Summer camp. It looked somewhat like a relative tent that, at first glance, looked like a dark blue color but as she looked closer it was actually a blinding white color. She entered the tent, not expecting to find what she found. It had looked like a regular tent, slightly bigger than usual but still a regular tent, on the outside but was actually quite big inside, it was fascinating. She looked around the tent in amazing. Mahogany floors and soft grey walls around the tent with bunk beds to sleep on and shelves to store and place items. She wandered around when she heard a girl burst into the tent yelling out a hello. Tallis stayed quiet, not sure how to react, as the girl wandered around and called out for Lilith.

She didn't know anyone else who had been invited in the tent besides Lilith which made her nervous. It did comfort her that she at least knew one person even if she didn't know her very well. Tallis looked away and back at the tent, still amazed at everything. She had grown up in a muggle world and things like this still amazed even if she herself could do magic and had been going to a school of magic. She brought herself back to reality and continued to look around the tent until more people arrived.

Ha. Tent finally.
Lindsey received a note from Lilith sometimes ago——she invited her to stay in their tent. Lilith said that Theseus would be there too, and Lindsey was pretty looking forward to see her two old Hogwarts express ride buddies.
She hadn’t met Lilith after September 1st. Theseus and herself made tea bags for an errand together, then met again on a weekend. Lilith also said that some other people would be joining too——all in all, Lindsey’s pretty looking forward to it.
As soon as she arrived, someone called hello out loudly. Who’s that? Lilith’s friend?
She wondered as venturing nearer. A girl appeared. Lindsey soon remembered that this was the interesting girl appeared briefly on the train. She must be the one who yelled out hello loud.
Another girl there seemed pretty nervous. Lindsey had never seen her before, but her face seemed a bit familiar.
“Hello.” She said to them, stretching out her hand. “I’m Lindsey. Hufflepuff second year.”
After this brief introduction, the badger really couldn’t think of anything to chat with them.
I’ve got to talk.
“Um…I guess both of you are acquainted with Lilith?” she asked.
After all, maybe Lilith could bring the unacquainted people together.

Lilith had been wandering aimlessly in the tent when the others came in. She had made the arrangements for the tent. Actually, more like she had slyly slipped notes to the others instead of asking them directly. Which is not exactly "making arrangements".
First was the extremely recognizable girl with lavender hair who had barged into her compartment that day. She was yelling her name. Strange, looking for her when she was, in fact, right in front of her, in the top bunk carved in the back wall of the rectangular room. Lilith supposed that she was small. One cannot be 135 cm tall and quiet and also be seen at first glance. Well.
Then came the girl she met in the courtyard--Tallis, was it? She seemed silent. And then Lindsey from her previous train ride that seemed so long ago. It's funny how time passes so fast. Lindsey was trying to talk to the two others. From what she heard the girl was a second year now. Lilith--to put it simply--could not imagine.
Since the three girls are all oblivious to the fact that their inviter was sitting right in front of them(with good reason)Lilith decided she should come down. Come down she did. Walking to the center of the rectangular room now.
"I'm over here."She said in the loudest voice she could muster. After a while, her loudest voice changed from "wasn't very loud" to at least the normal speaking voice of everyone else. At least Carina could hear her. Speaking of which.
"Well I...suppose..."She forgot what she's about to say and desperately tried to grab at the words she'd lost. She hoped they can introduce themselves. Introducing others to others is very weird to her indeed."ah..."She subconsciously counted the people. Four including herself. She thought it was supposed to be five.
"Where's...the other....um, Theseus?"

As she walked around a blond girl came up to her and the loud lavender haired girl and introduced herself. Apparently her name was Lindsey, and she was a Hufflepuff like her but a second year. She stuck her hand out for one of them to shake and Tallis, hesitantly, shook it. Lindsey then asked if they both knew Lilith. Tallis nodded slightly and decided she might as well introduce herself. "M...My name is Tallis, Tallis Oblidge," she started, "I...I'm a Huffle...Hufflepuff, fir...first year." She looked between the lavender haired girl and Lindsey, wondering how they knew Lilith.

That's when she heard a quiet voice come out from somewhere in the tent. She looked over to see Lilith and felt better that someone she sorta knew. Lilith stuttered out a few words when she asked where someone called... Theseus was. Tallis didn't answer since she had no idea who that was and looked around at the other two girls in the room. She wondered when these two had met Lilith and the other one who still hadn't arrived. She felt like she had seen Lindsey before, and also being a Hufflepuff, it was likely she had seen her around the common room but there were so many students so she wasn't sure.

Now the real stuff...

Seeing the ice around me, I attempted to break it. It was awkward. I wish even if Iha Longhorm was here, it might be a bit warmer. I asked, in a normal, casual way: "Does anyone know what we're doing today. In any case, I'm starving, so can anyone tell me where we eat in this tent? I'm stupid at directions, and this place is so complicated I'm sure I'll get lost!" Although I had an amazingly acute sense of direction. It was the only thing I could think of. Personally I always value myself as someone with fast instincts, and I have long prized my ability to think up reasonable excuses to get me out of trouble and/or awkward situations. I flashed Lilith a look of reminder, attempting to tell her, Come one, Lilith, this is your chance to get everyone to know each other! From my experience, getting on a trip or eating together is the best way to get to know someone. Also, I'm desperately looking for a friend here. I couldn't rely on Lilith; she was far too shy, and I didn't know her as well as Tallis and Theseus did. I looked at Lindsey. She seemed like the kind of person who would get me.

Theseus scurried into the tent last minute. Which he found to be quite an unfortunate predicament. He was not often one for being late to an event. Let alone one where his classmates kind of held him on some sort of an agenda due to it being for the benefit of them all. Though circumstances had him a bit behind on timing. Once he was inside of the tent however, he took a moment to acknowledge and admire the beautiful interior of the place. While not necessarily exprecting such a bright interior it was a welcomed sight none the less.

Theseus made his best effort to just blend into the group. While he figured they were nearing the end of introductions. He melded into the background and just quietly observed the scene. Quite curious to the pool of people Lilith had managed to dig up from her first year at hogwarts. Lindsey was a familiar face to be seen. From there it seemed like she had drawn a exceedingly shy individual, as well as an outgoing gal? Theseus wasn't quite sure the best term to apply to the gal who was doing her best to encourage a social environment.

On one hand if Theseus remembered right both Lindsey and Lilith were not overly social. It kind of helped make their train ride into hogwarts go smoothly. Though at the same time none of them were anti-social either and to be fair it had yet to be determined how much the year had brought about changes. Part of the reason Theseus was here was to broaden his social circle. Even if it wasn't his preferred activity.

The final thing Theseus acknowledged. Was when the one gal finally inquired about food and as to what it was that brought them all together. She seemed to be edging Lilith on to take action. Theseus took this moment to finally speak his part. "Um.. My name is Theseus in case it is helpful for those of you whom I've not met before." He pitched in. Trying to both help buy Lilith a moment to gather her thoughts and also get that fact out of the way. He didn't seemed to be out of his comfort zone by the fact the tent consisted of four girls and himself. Then again Theseus was never the most noteable when it came to expressing emotions. Unless he felt comfortable doing so.

Lilith sighed as the others attempted to introduce themselves. She could only watch. She could not help them as she is not much of a talker herself. After Lindsey started first Tallis attempted to reply with a "M...My name is Tallis, Tallis Oblidge,"A pause. "I...I'm a Huffle...Hufflepuff, fir...first year."
"Does anyone know what we're doing today. In any case, I'm starving, so can anyone tell me where we eat in this tent? I'm stupid at directions, and this place is so complicated I'm sure I'll get lost!"Carina piped up. She doesn't seem to realize she's perhaps the most social person in the room. Sorry, tent.
"Um.. My name is Theseus in case it is helpful for those of you whom I've not met before."Lilith turned. Somehow, sometime, Theseus had slipped in.
Judging by the expectant glances some people were giving her, she assumed that since she was the person that had invited them into the tent, she was supposed to "bring them together", whatever that meant. She wasn't sure she liked "bring them together." Nor does she know how to do it. Nevertheless she thought she'd at least try.
"Ah...um..."She wasn't sure how this "bring them together" worked. Since, well, they just introduced themselves. On the other hand they did not know each other, yet. (She was pretty sure they 'knew' Carina by now, as in her personality.) "I think..."Finally it hit her. She knew what to say. Actually, more like she had a very vague idea of what to say. But at least it's something. "....Today is the..first day of the camp......I think....um, we can either...stay in here"She guessed some of them won't like that. So she moved on. "....or get around the place."She finished. That was about the longest sentence she'd spoken to anyone in her first year. Lilith guessed it was a victory. She didn't feel like a champion or whatsoever. Just to get over it, she stood and began trying to drag her trunk inside. Unfortunately it was very heavy after all. So she sat on it instead.[size]
