Cole pushed open the door ,the bell above it rang loudly, to Flourish and Blotts and was almost immediately greeted with the scent of fresh books , as well as used ones and ink which lay conveniently in pots around the ancient book store. The shelves were neatly arranged into all kinds of systems, some by age, some by subject but they filled the walls around the place. He could hear a busy yet low chatter and the hoot of owls from outside.He began scanning the shelves looking for something to read to keep his mind occupied before the Sorting, his fingers traced each spine all of them seemed to have different carvings, different indentations almost like scales on a fish.He pondered upon a book with no namr, he reached forwards slowly sliding it from the shelves - it felt heavy..... in a matter of seconds hthe books' front cover had turned to some kind of liquid, trapping his fingers like quicksand , furious he shook and shook his hand until the book flew off and bcak to it's shelf , he wiped his hand rather annoyed on his cloak as he picked up another - hopefully less dangerous book, by the author - Newt , yes ,Newt Scamander.

The door bell rang as he turned the first page on the fresh book - in entered another student.He was fast approaching Cole.

Henry enter flourish and blotts alone as his older brother; Arthur and twin sister; Annabeth wanted to join their father; Luke on some ministry business in Gringotts bank. Henry didn't mind being on his own, especially if it means he got to read a new book or discover a new hidden world.

Henry walked passed a few aisles and stopped at one where it seems only one boy was in. Henry notice the boy had pale skin which made him think of his best friend; Cricket Mercury. I wish Cricket could have came but it's not like I didn't find out of this diagon alley trip this morning with no time to send a letter to her. Henry walked down the aisle to the first few shelves and a good distance away from the other boy.

As Henry begin to browse the books, he started to miss having Cricket there with him. Henry never had any friends or anyone besides from his siblings who understand him but somehow Cricket does and now Henry missed her more than ever but he also knows that he will soon see her again on the Hogwarts Express.

Henry smiled just thinking about seeing his best friend on the Hogwarts Express. Henry walked down to that other boy and gave him a shy but kind smile as he start to look for books on the shelf next to him.

Cole saw the boy approach and give him a smile.Cole had never seen this boy before.He snapped the book he had picked up shut, it was entitled ; Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Which he had been enjoying. Cole strode up to the boy still hanging on to the last few words he had managed to read before he saw another boy looking up at him with a smile which was filled with both nerves and kindness.His hair was dark brown and short contrasting his sky blue eyes which were full of life and sparkling in the lamplight of the bookstore the boy was reasonably tall and had a lean figure ad his skin was considerable more tanned in comparison to Cole's whose seemed the same color as the new book he had just had his head in.

Cole approached the boy trying to keep a confident manner as he proposed an un-thought question 'Who are you?' - as these words left he mouth he felt rather stupid as the question didn't have any depth and was rather blunt whereas he wanted it to be casual, almost offhand but hopefully it would strike an interesting conversation as he felt in the need for some action before the Sorting Ceremony.

"Who are you" spoke the mysterious boy in a blunt and rather intimidating sort of way. Henry gulped and jumped back a bit from fear and surprise when the boy spoke those words. Henry turned away from the shelf he was browsing for a new book to read to face the boy who was shorter than him but gave off a more intimidating but confuse stance but still it made Henry aim his eyes at the boys sneakers.

Henry had comforted a lot of bullies throughout his years but that doesn't mean he was ever brave enough to stand up to them, it was usually Annabeth or Cricket who would stand up to the bullies for him. So being all alone with some who was giving off a intimidating presence made Henry nervous and he could feel his hands shake a little, while the back of his neck became sweaty with fear. Henry took a few calming breaths and pushed a shaky hands through his hair while he thought to himself; Relaxe, don't worry you say your name then leave before anything gets out of hand or something else bad happens. Henry took another deep breath and held his shaky arms together in front of his chest as he barley looked the boy in the eyes.

Henry could feel the sweat on the back of his neck and the fear in his eyes as he said" My name is Henry, Uh Henry Knight. Uh...why do you ask?

Cole saw the effect he had on this - Henry Knight - and he was surprised he could be intimidating,back home Sean filled that role. Instead of his eyes sparkling - influenced by lamplight they were now influenced by fear.Cole noted the sweat trickling down his neck and his hands shaking slightly. Cole didn't really want to scare the boy but he almost enjoyed the power he had in comparison to how he was powerless at home. He tried to keep his mind off the sorting ceremony as there was a lot of pressure on him to get in a certain house, he sighed.

Cole walked up to Henry and got rather close he said to him 'I'm asking because I wanted to know' he said firmly and added 'What house you hoping for' he said this directly and almost like he was questioning him but it was rhetorical 'See you at the sorting ceremony' he said. He made sure that his book lay in the correct gap before leaving, he brushed sharply past Henry and burst through the door at the front of the shop.As he left he inhaled and was greeted by all the different smells of Diagon Alley - the bookshop had left him rather lightheaded due to the heat and the confined space.

"See you at the sorting ceremony" were the last words the mysterious boy spoke to Henry before he left the bookstore. As soon as Henry saw him leave, he relaxed a bit and stopped shaking while wondering who that was and why he was trying to act intimidating? Henry put the book he was looking at back in its spot in the bookshelf as a million thoughts floated into his head. Who was that and why was he acting that way? Did I do something to him without knowing or did he think I was intimidating?

Henry tried to forget about the incident with the boy but he couldn't get him out of his head. Henry started to browse for books again but found himself thinking of that boy again, Henry knew he should have said something else or been a little bit braver but now he wouldn't have the chance to. Maybe because of my height he thought I was intimidating or maybe I did something without knowing that made me look intimidating or give off the presence like I was a bully when I'm not. As Henry stood there still wondering what was wrong with that mysterious boy, he finally let it go knowing there was nothing he could do about it now but then he thought about now that boy would also be at Hogwarts. Will they meet again? Will they be in the same house? Would he continue to act intimidating around Henry?

As Henry was thinking he saw his twin at the window waving him over and Henry couldn't help to clucked a bit as he made his way over to the front door and pull it open as he exited the bookstore into diagon alley. His twin; Annabeth turned to him as she said" Father wanted me to get you, apparently he's done with his ministry business and needs us to go home with him now". Henry nodded to her with a grin as he reply" Alright, I couldn't find any new books but I'm sure I'll find some at Hogwarts with Cricket". Annabeth smiled but had some sadness hidden in her face has she wrapped her arm around Henry's shoulders and started down diagon alley to their father. Henry took a few last moments to think about that kid and finally just ended on the note that he was just some annoying kid who only acted to be intimidating to seemed fear by others. Henry for some reason hoped he won't be in his house, but instead focused on the fact he will soon be with his best friend; Cricket Mercury on the Hogwarts Express heading to Hogwarts for their first year.
