Now that all of the professors were gone, he looked around, observing the empty room for a moment. He knew students had been up here ad seen it empty, possibly found the remnants of the poor Gregs that were dead in the fireplace. Emotions had run high, some people had run their mouths instead of contributing anything of importance, and nothing had gotten solved. This is why he waited for everyone to leave, even his two best friends.
He walked to the middle of the room and sighed deeply before moving towards the door, putting his back to it. “Come on Lear… Give me something. Anything. Help me help you.” His voiced said to the dead air as he drew his blackthorn wand. “This would be so much easier if you needed me to wrestle a troll for your or something. Please don’t fail me now wand. We’re a pair you and I, and we’ve been through a lot. Help me find him. Help me find something.” He looked around the room again before waving his wand. “Revelio"
He hoped there was an object, a door, or a hidden message somewhere in this office that Lear had managed to leave them before his forced disappearance.

A deep sigh left the man's mouth as he walked back through the halls. He had escorted Cypress to her destination, which was somewhere with Elaine, before turning around and heading back up to the stairs of the castle. Initially, he was going to head out to the grounds and strengthen the wards as he had offered to do. Initially, he thought he would be strengthening the wards with Elaine by his side, but unfortunately, he was stuck doing it alone. Since he was doing this particular job on his own, he figured he could start first thing in the morning when the sun was just rising. Artemis wasn't afraid of the dark by any means, but it was smarter to work when one could actually see instead of wandering blindly through the dark waving his wand and casting spells about.
Making his way through the castle, the man sighed again and figured that he would just patrol the castle for any wandering students. That was until he walked by the staircase that led to the Headmaster's office. Light was pouring down from the top of the stairs and Artemis wondered who in their right mind would still be up in the office? Slowly, he walked up the stairs and paused at the door. The crack that was letting the light shine out was enough for Artemis to peek his head through and he saw his old school friend near the door, muttering to himself. The man had withdrawn his wand and cast a spell, but Artemis knew that his young friend had trouble casting spells, even when they were children. Although, a simple revealing spell should be fine for the man to cast without any trouble. And while Alaric was casting the spell, Artemis took it upon himself to walk fully into the room and wait with his friend to see if anything revealed themselves to the duo. But just in case...
Artemis pulled out his own wand and raised it to cast "Homenum Revelio" just to add a little extra "oomf" to what Alaric had cast.
