Room of Unpleasantness
The hospital wing was probably one of the worst places for a student to be. Rather, the journey to the hospital wing was one of the most painful things to experience. James, of course, did not have to experience the usual pain that came with the journey. Rather, he was here on a visit, if you could call it that. A pseudo-enemy of his, Eri Windstone, had recently tried to inflict the severing-charm upon herself. James was sent back into the castle by a unrecognizable professor, and while the hospital wing certainty wasn't the best place to go, it was his best option so that he could be set back on his original goal: report Eri to a professor.
James was rushing up to the hospital wing when the professor and Eri had strangely appeared in front of him. He was unsure of what to think, as he'd never seen anyone teleport before. It was an odd occurrence, sure, but when you're in a school of wizards, odd occurrences aren't so odd, now are they? James quickly glanced in the direction of two, silently shutting the door behind him. James walked towards the two, bag in had, and silent hum from the boy. He didn't know whether to be filled with glee or dread. He was slightly joyful that his overall plan had succeeded; yet slightly uneasy about being the cause of a girl's near death experience. It was an odd moment for James, to say the least.
He wondered about the possibility of an arrival of his fellow classmates who were involved in the incident, thinking of whether or not they too got injuries. He expected Kaegan, of course, being that he was the cause of this...some what. The Slytherin was undeniably not harmed, as he was mostly likely doing his own thing while it was going on. He expected that the two of them pulled a few others in, remembering back to Adam who had helped Kaegan in his dire situation. The boy stood in the corner of the room, tapping his fingers, waiting for something to happen.

Eri had been unconsious in a hospital bed for some time now. The nurses had done what they could to help her and insure she would be alive.
She came out of her unconsious state with a start. She ignored the pain in her side. She didn't know where she was at. She tried to stand up and walk towards the door.As she walked everything in her vision spun. She was going towards the door until she fell onto the floor very dizzy. The brunette was confused. Then the memories came back and she started to cry. She stood back up and tried to leave again.
Her mind was throbbing with the painful memories. How did she get to the hospital wing? Did james help her get here? Where is here any ways? Her brain told her she was in the hospital wing, but her dilusional mind said she needed to leave as quick as possible. She didn't understand what she was doing.
She continued towards the door and she was getting pretty close but her progress was really slow since she was still dizzy. She was about three feet from the door when she started o fall again onto the floor.

Adam looked up groggily from his hospital bed and peered through blurry eyes at the girl that had been brought in. She was unconscious, and he was still a bit confused from his long sleep -- not to mention the dramatic conversation he'd had the night before -- but she was definitely recognizable. It was Eri. She looked injured, almost similar to the way that Kaegen had been cut only a day or so before. What could have happened to her? There was a boy in the corner, watching her, a boy that Adam thought he knew from around the Common Room, and the table. Adam couldn't remember his name at present, but he was pretty sure that the boy had been around for the misfire at the table. It was good that he was supporting Eri. Judging from her current state, she needed it.
She was unresponsive for a while. Adam almost fell asleep again, given that he didn't have much else to do. He supposed he could've talked with Kaegen. Would they have had enough to talk about, though? Would they have anything to talk about? He still wasn't even sure what he was going to say when he and Kaegen were back to normal. Luckily, he didn't have to. A motion in the corner of his eye caught his attention. It looked like Eri was up and moving again, already. She couldn't have been released this soon, could she have? He hadn't heard any nurses dismiss her. Watching her curiously, seeing her stumble towards the door, he waited to see what she would do.
What she ended up doing was collapsing. She was close to the doors, so close, but she hadn't been able to make it. "I-I tried to give myself the same injury I gave kaegen but gjames made my wand move out if my hand and it hit my side." She started crying. Where was kaegen and Eris? She needed to apologize. Her face was no longer bruised from Eris's punch but it was red from tears. "I-I need to leave. I can't stay here." She tried to stand up again and walk to the door of the hospital room but she ended up getting dizzy and falling on her back. She sat up and stared at the door in anger. It seemed it was taunting her.
The brunette did not want to see eris or Kaegen right that second. She just wanted to hide away from everyone. Eris and Kaegen had been her friends but now she guessed she would have to prove her trust. At least she could remember people's names. That made it easier to know who was there and who she was talking to. "Adam I'm sorry." She felt like she would pass out again but she needed to escape this prison they called a hospital wing. She hated being confined to one room. She wanted to be free, but for now all she could do was sit weakly and dizzy on the ground.

The quiet room grew more and more odd with each passing moment, patients who were here for several reasons. Some might have gotten severely injured, while others may have lesser bruises. Nevertheless, James was on the less painful end of that spectrum. More specifically, the end that hasn't experienced any pain.
James sat alone in the corner of the room, writing in a notebook about charms. He used this opportunity to study and learn more about certain offensive spells, and of course, learn more about his, or rather, his friends and his, predicament. The boy grew tired after countless times of being uncomfortable after patients crawled out of their beds and walking around like complete zombies. James dozed off, becoming half-awake in a sense.
In his dozed off state, he clutched onto a piece of paper within the confines of his own bag that documented the events of the situation. Everything from the first sign of danger to right now, James had documented. Well, not necessarily that much, but all that he was present to witness. Even in the state he was in now, he still was holding onto it tightly, knowing that this single sheet of paper was an important piece of evidence.
Eri, who to James appeared to be a heartless attacker, had startled him out of his half-awake state. She appeared to be walking out the room, towards the door James was adjacent to. Startled, James looked around only to see that Adam, a ravenclaw he saw vaguely after the diffindo-situation, had come to the girl's aid. James, being aware of the crimes that might follow if Eri were to be let loose without punishment, quickly ran to the door, covering it up like a spider in its web.
The girl appeared to have gone into a nearly unconscious state, one that slightly made James uneasy. Now that he thought about it, the entire situation made James uneasy. Eri began to speak, to which James quickly decided to say something in order to get her back into her bed, and by extension, get her to submit to James's ultimate plan.
"Uh.. you!" James said, pointing to the ravenclaw who, if James remembered correctly, had the name of 'Adam.' "Get her back to the bed."
Mind you, this was no act of courageousness or selflessness, rather, it was one of fear. Fear that if he didn't do it, this fiend might get away with harming one of James's friends. He didn't know the whole context of why this other boy was here, but he knew somehow, by some force, the three of them had to have links to there current predicament.

She looked at James. "I-I can do it myself." Eri hated being helped doing ordinary things. So she stood up and walked more like ran to her bed then fell onto it. She was so dizzy the whole room was spinning. She had her diary with her and it just looked like a normal book. It fell off her bed and opened to a page that apparently was tear stained. It read: If Kaegen dies of my mistake I won't ever be able to forgive myself. What would my Aunt think? It would just give my parents another reason that they were right for leaving her, a failure, at home while they traveled. She laid her head on her pillow and closed her eyes. Everything was fading far away. Her memories, her thoughts, sounds, and her sight. Everything went dark as she tried so hard to fight unconsciousness, but she knew if she fell asleep she would pass out and not wake for a while. She hoped everyone would forgive her for her mistake. The brunette realized her book fell and she rolled onto her side and reached over the bed to get it but recoiled in pain then everything went black as unconsciousness set in.

As if called in by Eri's thoughts about her, a small red-headed girl peeked her head into the hospital wing, face pale and drained. She scanned the rows of beds, eyes going straight to the bed Adam had been last night, which was now vacant. Sheets rumpled, as if he had just hopped up. Eris's eyes went past the bed, to the next-store neighbor. Unsatisfied by whatever she saw, Eris looked around the room again. Eyes finally settling on a blonde haired boy and a brown haired girl on the floor. At once, Eris's already pale face drained of the last bit of colour it had left. Mr I-need-a-friendship-break Adam was crouched down next to Eris's first (and last if Professor Barrows had anything to say about it) punching victim, the starter of the hallway battle, Eri Windstone. Someone who used to be a friend of sorts, who Eris had no idea what to think about anymore.
Eris hadn't wanted to visit the hospital wing again after losing her head last night, and seeing Adam gone crazy for the first time. She wasn't sure if she was mad or sad, but something had dragged her up the steps to the third floor hospital wing. Maybe a night was long enough for a friendship break? If not, she could just visit Kaegen. Even though she was anxious, and had been envisioning many horrible scenarios in her mind, never once had she imagined that Eri Windstone would be in the hospital wing, looking like she was on death's door. Eris hadn't punched her that hard in the first place. The girl looked like something was hurt in her stomach, and Eris was fairly certain she had hit Eri in the face.
She couldn't really remember. The events of Adam and Kaegen's fight in the hallway, and the mosh pit of students and chaos that insured seemed far away. Eris knew she should say sorry to the other girl, and say sorry to Adam for her odd desplay of emotion last night, but she couldn't. Eris stood in the doorway, watching the conversation unfold until another boy ran up. Yet another ravenclaw. How many of them were in the castle anyways? The boy pointed at Adam and ordered him to get Eri back to bed.
Good. That meant both Adam and Eri weren't going to see Eris for a while longer, and she could ask the other ravenclaw boy what was going on. Trusting that Adam would be busy with helping Eri, Eris walked over to the boy with light footsteps. "Is she really this hurt because I punched her?" Eris couldn't fathom why Eri would be so hurt from a punch to the face. She didn't even look that bruised up.
Apparently Eri didn't need Adam's help, as Eris watched her limp over to the bed. How was she able to move while so hurt? Eris shook her head, turning away from the ravenclaw girl, who seemed to be sleeping soundly. Eri was probably going to freak out if she saw Eris.

Kaegen was not in his bed, he was weak, low on blood and the death witch had been put in the hospital. There was no way he was going to tangle with her, she was weak, but so was he. Now was not the time to strike, and besides he had made up his mind not to interfere. She might kill Apple, but not him.
He had cut a slit in the matress, and over a period of several hours, replaced his body mass with the feathers, making a replica of himself under the sheets. he then perforated a line in the bottom of the mattress, an escape hole for when things went south. He had spent a long time on it, and had done it quietly. No one had heard, especially in the state they were in. He heard the death witch say something in reply to Apple's question, but couldn't make it out, he had a splitting headache, and needed sleep.
He mentally cursed his lack of spells, and slowed down his breathing to a minimum. It had already been too quiet for any normal person to hear, but he was terrified that the girl would find him.
Plus, after she eviscerated apple, she might go on a killing spree. When that happened, he would leave out the window. Or maybe just live in the mattress.

Eri woke up and decided to just lay still and fake that she was asleep. She heard voices. Eris's was one of them. So she sat up in her bed and looked around. There she could see everyone. Kaegen, Adam, James, and Eris. Frowning in pain she grabbed her diary from the floor and grabbed a quill from her satchel that was on the table next to her bed. She wrote in it for a while zoning out everyone around her. She didn't want to talk to anyone else at that moment. The brunette wanted to keep to herself and her thoughts.
Her side started to burn like a fire was burning her skin and she recoiled in pain. She had accidentally forgotten to take her pain meds and she could feel the potion healing her side. A grimace formed on her lips as she tried to ignore the pain. Tears welled in her eyes but she did not let them fall. Her mind was set on ignoring the pain and everything started to spin. Layig the book on the table she laid down on her bed and tried to ignore the burning sensation that had begun on her side.

Adam watched Eri dizzily trip over to her bed and collapse, sinking back into unconsciousness shortly after. She was still going strong, but he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Medicine was far beyond Adam's reach, and he didn't have much of a desire to learn it. He was content with trying not to get hurt in the first place. With his limited skill set, all he could do was hope that Eri was getting the right treatment, and responding to it the right way. He watched her for a moment longer when after she fell asleep, trying to tell as well as he could that things really were okay, and then looked back to the rest of his friends. Eris and James -- he had remembered, it was James from the Common Room -- were talking quietly off to the side, and Kaegen had apparently concealed himself inside the folds of his sheets. Adam sighed and turned his eyes from Kaegen's bed. He didn't have time to deal with that right now.
Waiting until Eris had seemingly finished her conversation with James, he walked up to them and smiled. "Hey, mind if I talk to Eris for a minute?" Focusing on the smaller girl, his face grew more serious and his voice dropped to barely above a whisper. "Listen, I know I said the three of us needed some time off, and I stand by that. But as long as you're here, with me and Kaegen and her, I need to be sure that nothing's going to happen. She made a mistake, Eris, and I know it was a bad one, but you have to let her go. She's clearly sorry. Plus, look what it's doing to you! You could lose your prefect-hood!"
