Loren was clueless. She's the only one from the entirety of the Alexander family who seems to not be able to do anything right, for starters she cried over having to shop for her things alone and then got put into Hufflepuff..HUFFLEPUFF!! She sent her mother an owl the next day telling her what house she got into and she called her weak. Loren thought to her self in the morning I shall head to Diagon Alley and buy herself something nice to make her feel better.

The next morning she awoke and got dressed and hurried away to Diagon Alley. In Diagon Alley she stopped and looked at all the witches and wizards shopping and as she had kept walking without looking, she ran into an older boy she didn't recognize... ["Hey! Watch it!"] he snapped. ["sorry"] she said quietly and then turned around and disappeared into the crowd of witches and wizards. She stopped and read the sign above the shop door it read "Magical Menagerie", she looked back at the door getting a tiny bit dizzy from looking up for so long because well she is a slow reader and it took her weeks to read simple chapters. After getting over the small dizzy spell that had be-felled her she opened the door and stepped into the shop.

Inside it smelled of owl feathers and little bits of cat hair floated around the shop. The man behind the counter was too busy, with what seemed to be a giant pink pompom that kept trying to escape his grasp. Loren cleared her throat softly and the man had finally caught the pompom and he turned around and said ["Ah, welcome. come to pick a pet have you?"] he said with a grin. Loren wasn't good at being bold but she smiled and said ["Yes, I have... I was hoping for an owl or a cat but anything will do."], she watched the man pull several cages which contained 1 cat in each box. She looked at the fluffy gray cat that was staring at her, as if communicating and she thought (I think that's the one) She walked out carrying a wooden cat carrier and inside was a fluffy gray cat with large blue eyes.
