I Guess We're Doing This  Solo   Finished
"Welp I guess we're doing this." Seeing all the people at the station was a bit daunting. She really really hoped that the train ride itself wasn't as noisy.
"Always knew you were a weirdo, Ree-Ree. But I don't think these weirdos are as weird as you."
"Don't make me tie you to the traintracks Luke, it'd take forever to clean up."
Her mother heaved a big sigh "Why can't the two of you just get along?" giving her children hopeful looks. They looked at each other and shrugged, it was just normal to make fun of each other.
"I guess it wouldn't actually take forever, you know, with magic and everything..." she said.
Her mother sighed again and her older brother laughed while ruffling her hair "I'll miss you Ree-Ree, who else am I going to annoy?!"
"Well gee, I don't know, I'm pretty sure you already annoy everyone else." she said while rolling her eyes, a slight smile on her face.
Her mother staunchly ignored their bantering and bent down, tears in her eyes, and held her tight "Have fun dear, but please remember to be careful. At least try not to scare the other children with your stories, ok. Oh and make sure you eat properly and get enough sleep, and-"
"I get it mum, I love you too." she hugged her back tightly. "I'll miss you and papa and the twins...and I guess I'll miss you too Luke, kind of anyway."
He snorted at that last part. "See you at Christmas Ree-Ree!" he shouted with a big grin.
"Bye sweetheart! I love you!" her mother and brother waved goodbye as she stepped onto the train.

I guess this is it, well almost it anyway. Time to find a compartment and maybe read a bit or take a nice nap or something. Hopefully her peers like ghost stories, she's sure thay haven't heard of some of the ones she's come across.... On second thought maybe she should hold off on those a bit, she should be a little bit nice to them in the beginning, she was going to have to live with them three quaters of the year after all.
