Anonymous Love Note To: Victor Moore

To: @Victor Moore
Dear Victor,
I barely got to know you before the spider attack on the Slytherin Common Room, but I should have realized from the start how kind a person you were. The fact that you were willing to get up in the middle of the night and fight to try to let in a potentially locked-out housemate was proof enough. I'm sorry I didn't pay closer attention to you then. I'm also sorry I didn't do much to defend you during the interrogation in the abandoned toilets.
Still, the fact that you were willing to help a fellow student out even after you had just been accused, questioned, and betrayed by your very own housemates meant more than I could ever convey. I can't shake the feeling that all of this is too little being said too late; that no matter what I do, I'll never be able to repay the simple kindness you did for me even in what had to be one of your darkest moments of despair. I truly hope that's not the case.
People may call you a coward, Victor, but you're much braver than I probably ever was. You may fall over with the slightest touch, but you're stronger in your resolve than the majority of the Slytherin house put together. Your skin may be ice cold, but your heart is no doubt one of the warmest and most forgiving I've ever encountered. That's why it frightened me and that's why I tried my best to stay away.
Unfortunately, strong as you are, your killer kindness overpowered my weak will and I was soon caught up in my compassion for you as a person. You are truly terrifying in how much you have caused me to care about you in so short a time as I've known you. Please don't abandon me now to drown in the sea of emotion I've worked so hard to overcome all this time. I fear I may lack the skills necessary to survive unbroken if you do.
Sincerely,
An Anonymous Admirer
