Nice to Meet You!
Lindsey walked into the library, merrily. She was supposed to meet her new quill pals here——at least she thought so.
She participated a program called “Quill Pals” held by a Gryffindor prefect. It’s quite interesting and Lindsey really liked it.
She was arranged with two girls named May Moonstar and Chaya Arrow——she was really excited to meet them.
Lindsey had heard of May’s name——a fellow Hufflepuff like her. She didn’t know Chaya though. Chaya Arrow was a Slytherin, according to the prefect. Lindsey would love to meet her. She knew few Slytherins and was happy to make friends with more.
——————————
She now entered the library. So many books!
Lindsey hadn’t been here. What a shame, for a hug bookworm like her. Most of the time she just stayed at their common room and read some books taken from her home——mostly fictions, though.
I’ll come here more often from today! She said to herself. Really amazing——I wonder how did they do it!
She wandered carelessly through the hundreds and thousands of shelves.
Lindsey pulled out a book about Charms. She’s really interested I’m this subject and would definitely want to know more about it.
As a result, while she was waiting for her quill pals, Lindsey sat down and started reading the book.

Nice to Meet You!
Chaya had been cautious signing up to the Quill Pals program, but her parents remembered something like it in their time at Hogwarts, and when she'd mentioned the possibility, they'd owled and said to participate. Chaya hadn't entirely bought it herself, but listened to what they had to say. With @Lindsey Springhall and @May Moonstar
So here she was. The library was where she'd arranged to meet her fellow Quill Pals, two Hufflepuffs, Lindsey Springhall and May Moonstar. She thought she'd seen them around somewhere, but Chaya hadn't met many Hufflepuffs in her time at Hogwarts so far, as she naturally trusted Ravenclaws and Slytherins more (her mother being a Ravenclaw and her father and Chaya herself belonging in Slytherin). She'd always thought Gryffindors were a little brash. But Hufflepuffs... she'd never had time to form a proper impression of any she'd met, but they seemed nice enough.
Chaya entered the library with her pencil and notebook tucked in the pocket of her uniform, as usual, and holding some books she needed to return before she was punished for having them in late. After returning them and exchanging a few words with the librarian- who she always forgot the name of, no matter how hard she tried to remember (her head was full of better things, as she put it)- Chaya went in search of the Quill Pals she was supposed to be meeting. Turning a corner, Chaya spotted a girl reading a book about Charms.
It certainly wasn't May Moonstar, as Chaya was sure she had white or pale blonde hair, or something of that sort, but it could be Lindsey.
Chaya wasn't one for speaking to people unnecessarily unless they looked particularly interesting, but she decided to go for it. 'Hello.' she said simply. 'Are you Lindsey Springhall?'

Lindsey was quite into her books after a short while. She was the type of “bookworm” that could simply read anything——as long as there’re words on it.
Hope my two pals love reading too. She thought. Maybe they are! They pair quill pals by looking at their interests! She smiled. Great program!
She hadn’t read much, possibly a couple of pages, a brown-haired girl approached.
“Hello! Are you Lindsey Springhall?” she asked.
“Ah, yes, I am!” Lindsey quickly stood up, and said merrily. “You are…Chaya right?” She added, with a bit uncertainty.
Lindsey was quite sure that this girl in front of her was Chaya, as she’s wearing Slytherin robes. And, May’s hair was light——maybe even white? She could not remember clearly.
Chaya seemed a really nice and vigorous girl. Lindsey really liked her.
“As you could see, I’m in Hufflepuff!” she told Chaya, pointing the badger on her robe, smiling.
“So we should wait for May now! Um, would you like to read some books while waiting? It’s great!”
A Ravenclaw would definitely accept this, and so would a Slytherin, according to Lindsey. Actually, who could reject such a fascinating thing in such a fascinating place?
I’ll certainly recommend it to my friends! Lindsey said to herself.

May had been invited (her Quill Pals had invited her, but Quill Pals sounded so odd, May, being Muggleborn, forgot to call it that, and she called them Pen Pals) to the library. Probably to be friends, or something. "So, May remember, it's Chaya Arrow, and Linsdey Springhall. Don't disappoint them in calling them Springhall Linsdey or Arrow Chaya." she told herself, in her thoughts. But...why would she call them that? They were going to be her friends, after all.
Last time May had a Quill Pal, well, Pen Pal as they called it in the Muggle world, it had been a disaster. Spoiled the little girl was, and she treated May like a servant. Even in her letters, the little eight year old, said that May was spoiled and didn't know any matters. But May only thought that she was too spoiled for her own good, and stopped talking to her.
"How will They treat me? I hope I am not a total disaster, like that little girl that only asked me to write with glitter ink when I was eight years old."
May opened the library door. Ok, so she looked at two girls talking. "It's probably them! Ok, May calm down and wipe that smile off your face. You know better than being over excited."
As she approached the table, the shy Hufflepuff took a deep breath. "Umm, are you guys Chaya Arrow, and Linsdey Springhall?" May asked them, red as a tomato. Why had she accepted to have a Quill Pal? Or even worse, two. May could only hope that she would be a great friend to them, and them to her.

Nice to Meet You!
Luckily for Chaya, she had no extra time to be 'nervous' (Chaya hated that word, and hated that it popped up to describe herself) because the Hufflepuff replied almost immediately, like any normal human being would.Interacting with @Lindsey Springhall and @May Moonstar
'Ah, yes, I am! You are... Chaya, right?'
Chaya nodded. 'Nice to meet you.' she answered. Lindsey seemed nice, and Chaya was glad they'd found a similarity already when Lindsey requested they read while waiting for May to come. She easily settled herself back into the book she'd been reading earlier that day.
While she read, she thought. She thought about May Moonstar. Chaya could see herself being friends with Lindsey almost effortlessly, but she wasn't sure about May. She shook her head a little and rolled her eyes at herself. Typical me, judging people before I've met them, she thought.
However she was eager as ever to meet May. Chaya had always loved both new people and change, it was just she wasn't that great at first impressions. She'd always come across as rude, or shy, or some weird combination of both- whatever it was, it was always far from her real personality. Sure, she could be a little mean sometimes, but she was never rude. And she'd rather call herself cautious than shy.
Chaya also had a tendency to overthink, so she was relieved when a girl with light hair turned up.
'Umm are you guys Chaya Arrow, and Lindsey Springhall?' the new girl asked.
'Well I'm Chaya.' she said, putting away her book and standing up. 'I'm guessing you're May?'
