After weeks had passed since Adonis last learned a spell above his year and seemed to have the free time once again to continue studying and learning more, he instantly got right back to it as soon as possible. He was quite excited to say the least for the spell that he was about to teach himself. It would prove to be very useful in duels for him or just fighting against a person with an object in their hand in general. The ability to disarm anyone who was on the opposition for him made him want the duelling club to become a thing even more so, so he could practice an array of spells through duels. Adonis seeked to be the best of the best in duelling and aimed to be top of the class if anything. As often as he was there for his friends and at Hogwarts to make more, the boy was also there to become one of the best duelists and an Auror. He wouldn't get his way to the top through cheating, no - he would climb his way up there through the means of constant practice and studying to better himself in terms of magical prowess. Though that would not stop him from getting rid of anyone who stood in his way to the top. He aimed to make quirk work of that, which is why he studies ahead.

Earlier in the day and the entire week in-fact he had been continuously practicing the incantation and saying it in a hushed voice to himself during the class. After class? He was straight bellowing it and practicing the wand movement whenever he wasn't saying it. Adonis didn't want to accidentally do it and then send some students wand flying or his own for that matter. Even before he went to bed, Adonis was also practicing both separately. There was one time that he did both on accident together and in turn had sent his own wand flying back at the wall behind him in his dorm. Donnie tried to actually cast it a few more times after that and only succeeded in sending his own wand all over his dorm or having it get flung back at his own face. It could've been like some clip in a movie with a montage of him chasing after his wand all over the place in his dorm with light music in the background. By now, it was early December and Adonis wore his winter cloak while standing outside in the frigid Scottish climate. Well, he was more so walking in long strides past and through the grounds and towards the Great Lake. The place that he always seemed to end up at most of the time as did other kids. He wasn't the only student to come to the lake often and usually saw people he recognized around the area. It was like a social hotspot whether it ended up in arguments, picnics, people being pushed into the lake, etc. Everyone always seemed to go to the Great Lake and it always made him wonder why. It was part of their Hogwarts ceremony as First Years after all. Perhaps that was the reason?

Upon arriving at the Great Lake, Adonis was met with his friend and fellow dormmate, Percival Rainwood who already seemed to be standing there and waiting for him. He was thankful for his friend allowing him to practice the spell on him or attempt to at least. Adonis just only hoped it would work. He was determined to get this spell down and be able to officially say that he could perform it and have it added to his arsenal of spells. Adonis concentrated on Percival and his wand in his hand that was slightly extended out already for Adonis to try and cast at. With one sudden exhale after taking a deep breath, Adonis quickly made a tilted 'L' with a spiral swirl at the end of it with his wand, "Expelliarmus!" he shouted, firing out a scarlet wisp of light from the tip of his wand and for Percival's in which made his wand fly out of his hand. Excitement instantly filled up inside of him as the cast had been successful. This was big. He had finally managed to successfully cast the Disarming Charm. It was something for Adonis to be proud of, which he obviously was. He could finally use such a spell to defend himself now and prove it to be of use to him later on. "I did it!" He said in joy, giving Percival a high-five and thanking him before the two both made their way back to their dorms.
