Finding My Place
Don’t let the Vauge Dakrness blind you,
Everyone’s hearts are full of beauty and lies,
You won’t last long reading in between the lines.
And getting conquered with pain, with all those hurtful cries;
Reality and life isn’t perfect,
In mind a thought to keep
But pray to wind your hands leaped
Be prepared for every event quickly flips
If your not prepared you’ll slip and lose your grip.
Crystal lived by these lines, only looking out for herself and others that she cared about.
She never was told that she was a mud-blood, by her own slytherin roommates, never had she been like this.
Crystal always belived some people have a place in this world but she never found hers.
It was a clear summer day, no cloud in sight, and the sun was shining brightly on the lake making it look like the lake is dancing, the lake wa shed favorite spot for anything.
Crystal took a spot under a tree near the lake and started to cry.
She didn’t find her place and she started to get made fun of because she felt at home and liked muggle technology.
She cried this was all she did before she fell alseep. Crystal looked out at the lake and sobbed.

Finding My Place
Amber walked out to the lake, the way it shimmered the vast bright sunlight, made it look heavenly and beautiful. The way Amber liked it. Of course, the lake was of absolute beauty, didn't mean everything did. And the quiet crying that grew Louder as Amber walked towards it, was loud enough for anyone to understand. "Excuse me? Are you alright? I-I heard you crying, a-and I wanted to see if I-I Could help. I'm A-Amber, by the way, Of G-Gryffindor." She'd announce quietly, as she neared the crying. She saw it was a girl. She was pretty, and if she was happy, she might've looked carefree. She glanced anxiously at the girl, a pit of anxiety and sadness waved over her. What if the girl was angry? What if she didn't like Amber? Was her stuttering a way of weakness? 'Oh merlin why wasn't I in Hufflepuff!' She'd cry to herself.
She finally got a glimpse of the girl when she had looked at Amber. The girl had short brown hair, which was still shockingly longer than Amber. Or maybe it wasn't so shocking, as Amber was known for her cat ears and short hair. Maybe nobody knew, but Amber was as fragile as glass, and seeing this girl crying, made the glass nearly tip over. It was all but Amber's fault that she felt bad, and that Amber was extremely nervous and weak. She was a jittery mess.

Finding My Place
Crystals head jerked up.
“Hello, and I’m fine, I guess..... I would just like to be alone for now..... new to this school, trying to get used to it yeah...”
Crystal looked at her and smiled then she looked back out to the lake, she didn’t want anyone to feel burdened with her problems, it wasn’t something she would do a lot, most of the time she just deals with it alone.
She looked over at Amber again and stood up.
“I can’t leave if you want, I don’t mind I will just go over there....”
Crystal looked at the spot where she pointed and sighed.
She thought she found the place she was looking for, a place where she felt at home with her friends as her family. But, Crystal quickly realized that not everyone is who they seem to be.
‘Everyone’s hearts are full of beauty and lies’
That poem was true, Crystal was losing her grip, about to fall and slip, no one there for her, she was about to let go and just deal with the tournament of the 5th years picking on her because she likes a lot of muggle technology....
Crystal looked Amber and waited for her to say she could go away...

Finding My Place
Amber smiled slightly at the girl. "You don't have to go away! I would like a friend, and I want to be a muggle Therapist when I'm older, I wouldn't mind hearing what's wrong." She knew she was sounding rude, but she needed to know. Curiosity killed the cat. But the
has nine lives.
She nearly lived by these words. Well, that's an understatement. She loved these words. They made her feel that if she was too curious, she could always rely on those very words to back her own theory up. She took a seat next to the girl.
She'd sit in silence.
Sometimes silence, was the best medicine.
Sometimes. Silence is violence.
Realizing her own silence, she wondered if the girl would try to Hex Amber. Amber was never one for spell-casting, but her ex-friend did teach her some curses. Not that there was a need for them, as words, could solve most things. Words first, Fists Second, Curse third. Fourth? Gone. Most people would get hurt in those types of duels, others, die. But in the year Amber and the girl were at? The most they could do was send red sparks at one another, as if it was any use.

Finding My Place
Crystal looked almost shocked the girl said she could stay and most people in her house would make fun of her, well if not all but her.
Crystal sat down and looked out to the lake.
The girl she just met who goes by ‘Amber’ said she wanted to become a Muggle therapist.
Crystal then looked shocked.
“Most people would want to become an Auror or something that is within the wizarding world. And I really don’t want to talk about it, and I assume your a muggleborn am I correct?”
Crystal looked at her and looked out to the lake, letting her mind get lost in her head, she liked that Amber didn’t push her to tell her what was wrong instead she let her talk to her when she needs it. They sat in scilence, nothing disturbing the quiet but the sound of occasional birds passing by, and the sound of the water.
‘If you read in between the lines you won’t last long in life.... am I reading in between the lines?’
Crystal thought about it and she looked over st Amber and just looked back out to the lake
“I..... thought I found my place here at Hogwarts, but I don’t think I did..”
Crystal looked at Amber, she was in for a long day
