"Abandoned" Toilets PV Finished

Ella walked down the hallway to the Abandoned Toilets. She stumbled over her own feet and tripped to the floor. She muttered under her breath as she got up, "I hope no one saw that. Man, I'm so clumsy!
She sighed, and kept walking. At the door to the abandoned toilets, she stopped right before opening the door. She heard something. She could hear a girl inside, and it sounded like she was reading. She didn't even mind that much though, Ella just knew that she had been to busy to 'go' all day, and she didn't feel like going in the noisy girls lavatory, so she walked in. There, was the girl she had heard, book in hand, standing just around the corner from the door, on the sink side on the room. Ella smiled at this girl and said, "Hi, my name's Ella. What's your name?" Aw shoot, she thought after saying that, that sounded so dorky!

Grace blushed as two girls entered, of course, can't she just get some peace and quiet, Grace obviously didn't say that out loud. "Hi, my name's Ella. What's your name?" the girl said, Grace smiled timidly "Oh I-I'm Grace" Grace blushed, Ella went into a stall "Oh umm the toilets don't work, this bathroom is broken... the sink doesn't even work" Grace rolled her eyes, can't they fix this broken bathroom? Grace sighed as she dug through her bag, finally finding her book, Grace opened it, the fresh smell of new books always made Grace smile and make her happy "I've been holding it all morning, with all that homework that they give!" Grace heard Ella say, Grace looked up, she didn't really like it when people complained about homework, Grace thought it was fun and easy, Grace noticed that her face was angry and she growled a bit"Oh! Uh sorry I just don't really like when people complain about homework... but if you think it's hard I can tutor you I guess..." Grace was pretty introverted and awkward so she wasn't used to talking to random students, the only student she was really comfortable talking to was her friend Savannah. Grace bit her nail and went back to her book, looking up every minute, checking if the girls are still there.

"What book are you reading?" Grace heard a voice asked, Grace looked up, it was the other girl- Kaylie was it? Grace smiled at her " It looks interesting. Do you like reading? You seem nice." Kaylie went on, Grace's eyes widened, never in her life was she called nice, she was usually call rude names like shy, baby, coward, shorty, but never nice, other than her cousin Rachel and her parents, Grace smiled at her "Oh! yeah, I really like reading, ever since I was 3" she said, tucking her annoying long blonde hair behind her ear, she rolled her eyes and just made it short, she smiled and blushed even more deeply "Oh ummm, yeah I'm a metamorphmagus..." Grace said, causing her hair to turn an ombre bubblegum pink and her eyes a normal pink, just for a second, it turned back to her dirty blonde hair and her light blue eyes again, Grace never really enjoyed her ability but it was helpful sometimes, like sometimes when her past waist length hair was annoying, which usually happened, she could just make it short, Grace was a somewhat beautiful girl, she was very short and very weak, she had long blonde hair that never got tangled, and light blue eyes, she usually blushed and she was very observant. Grace then noticed that Kaylie was babbling on and on, Grace stayed quiet as usual "Sorry that Im not talking much... most of my family talk a lot but not me, I didn't have many friends growing up, so books were my favorite, my only friend when I was younger was my cousin, Racehl, she has a pretty tragic backstory..." it was true, Grace's bad cousin's parents died so she was left in Grace's parents hands.

Kaylie talked on and on, Grace tried not to be rude and tried to listen to her, but she kept reading her book, "Wow you've been reading since you were 3! That's so cool!" Grace heard Kaylie say, but she didn't hear the rest of the sentence, "Uh yeah, I've been the nerd at my school since preschool actually..." then Kaylie started saying that she will never get any friends and started to cry, Grace's eyes widened "No! Don't cry! That's exactly what I thought a few months ago, but I found someone who became my friend!" Grace smiled kindly, Kaylie also said Grace looked like she was the shy type "Erm yeah I'm kinda hard to warm up to people, like I said I never had many friends growing up, but I could always count on my family" Grace scooted over to Kaylie, her book stayed stable in her legs, Grace wrapped her arm around her, which was pretty awkward to her. Grace looked at her "Listen, I know it's hard but your gonna find a friend... just don't try to hard, you wanna hear the story about how I met my friend? It just happened" Grace wasn't good with these pep talk things, she took her arm off and blushed very deeply, she looked down awkwardly and went to her book, humming a nice tune under her breath.
